Vintage californian built Trek Y11 carbon frame full suspension mountain bike. Left crank arm was threaded and has been replaced with a generic one from Halfords. Needs some TLC and restoration. Signs of use from almost 30 years, however it’s not actually been rode that far or often. Original group set rims brakes and suspension(pads have been changed) Plenty of small scratches and dings and the label on the from of the frame has peeled off.

Feel free to ask questions or to have a look at the bike. It has had an expensive new seat since the pictures. The bike will be thoroughly cleaned and greased before sale. Was very well taken care of after being built. Most luxurious bike I have ever ridden. Great breaks, very high quality, changes gears smoothly, the suspension has different settings to suit your needs and wants, not as heavy as you would expect so all round perfect bike. Rare expensive parts on this bike, don’t underestimate it! If you are interested please message me! 1990 mk1 Offroad Proflex frame 18 built by SEROTTA. True Temper USA (retro)

This listing is for a mk1 1990 Offroad Proflex frame. One of only 100 built, by Serotta. True Temper USA steel tubing. Measurements: Frame size: 18″ CTC (19.25 CTT) Top tube: 22.25″ CTC Seatpost: 26.8mm The rear suspension has been rebuilt, so it is back to catalogue standard. It has a new alloy tube (that the elastomer rides on) of the same dimensions as the original. It also has a new replacement elastomer of the same colour, length and outer diameter as the original. The only difference is that the hole in the elastomer measures 12mm rather than 9mm, so just 1.5mm smaller all the way around. There has been a minor brazed hole repairs to the rear of the seat tube – it has been done well and is structurally sound. One of the frame brake bosses is a little wobbly. It doesn’t spin and has probably been like it for most of it’s life. No dents, but plenty of scrapes here and there. This is an excellent opportunity to own one of the first full suspension’mountain bikes’ in history, and it would make a great project for someone. Any questions just let me know.
