For lovers of the Klein linear color fades you know how rare and special the gator fade is. This bike had two owners before I picked it up. It was a showroom bike for years and was ridden by its first owner for two years before being picked up by its last owner, who kept it indoors for two decades and rode it very occasionally. The paint on the bike is in great condition. There isn’t the expected amount of fading on the frame. The frame paint is still very fluorescent and eye popping. There are no major dents anywhere on this frame. There is a bite that was taken out by the crank at some point on the drive side just behind the bottom bracket (visible in the pictures). There are a few other chips on the drive side chain-stay, on the down tube, drop out and seat tube. There are numerous minute but insignificant scratches elsewhere on the frame. The internal cable housing is very old and brittle and has broken away in a couple places. Frame measurements from center to center are as follows: head tube to seat tube – 21″, head tube – 3″, bb to dropout – 17. With this frame I will include the original bottom bracket on it, which is in great shape. Klein used a number of proprietary parts and the bottom bracket was one of them, so it can be very difficult to find a replacement. Please message me with any questions you might have.
