Up for sale is my Stanton Switchback next he frame in 16.5inch long (lower standover height, longer reach). Colour is’misty blue’. This is a Reynolds 631 steel frame and is great fun and very capable. I have owned this since new and it has been used and enjoyed, but also well looked after. There are various surface marks over the frame from use, and a couple of areas of cable rub where I missed adding protective tape. There are a couple of deeper scratches on the down tube by the Stanton logo on one side (see photos) which is the most significant area of paint damage, but still not particularly noticeable. Overall the frame is in great shape. Bottom bracket threads are all good. The dropouts are interchangeable – the frame comes with non-boost (142×12) dropouts. The chain stay protection has been on since new, but I have left it there because it works well – it has not been left on to hide anything. This frame has been in use on my second bike, so has not had a huge amount of use. The frame comes with a cane creek 40 headset (bearings still run smooth and crown race also included despite not being pictured), rear axle, seatpost clamp and a Rockshox reverb stealth b1 dropper post with 150mm drop. The seatpost is in good condition and works well, but does have about 5-10mm of the reverb’squish’ that is common in these. I still have the original boxes for the frame, seatpost and headset, and will include these in the sale.

I bought the frame in Feb 2022 direct from Stanton. The frame is Ti front carbon rear, with cerakote heritage wrap and decals. Stanton lettering is anodised “candy floss”. It really is a beautiful frame. Frame will need 230mm eye to eye, 65mm stroke shock to provide 140mm of rear travel as standard. Carbon rear has been invisiframed from new so is in very good condition. There are a few marks from use. One mark from transit that rubbed off the invisiframe and top layer of lacquer. I repainted lacquer in this very small area. Front triangle in very good condition. No dents or dings. Couple of rub/cable rub marks that will scotchbright out. Frame comes with virtually new hope headset, Stanton seat clamp, two mech hangers, and burgtec rear axle. All bearings running smooth. Takes seatpost size 31.6. It’s a Large (19) I’ve had it since 2017 and has always been a second bike. It’s spent most of its life on easy trails with the kids. It was Invisiframed from new but on the first ride got a bit of damage to the wrap that chipped the paint under it. The picture makes it look much worse than it is because the invisiframe lifted. The other bad point is the 853 sticker has got damaged because I had a spare tube strapped there. There are a few stone and chain marks on the invisiframe but they don’t look like they have marked the paint. It comes with a Hope headset meant for tapered steerer tube. This is proper invisiframe.. One of their specific kits. The tubes themselves are unmarked / undented apart from a little cable rub you can see on one side of the downtube.
