Pipedream Sirius 3G Reynolds 853 Frame in Candy Apple Red. WMTB, TEST WINNER, GOLD AWARD. I have owned this frame from new and it has served me well over the last few years. Built out of Reynolds 853 main triangle and 4130 seat and chain stays. This is one very versatile frame as it can run 26 or 27.5 wheel sizes. I ran it 27.5. Rear dropouts can slide back and forth by 25mm to accommodate either wheel size or to adjust the wheel base. Current rear dropouts are 135mm quick release but it can be adapted to run single speed or 142x12mm with the correct dropouts. You will notice that the frame has custom stainless steel plates at the dropouts these are to allow a rear rack to be fitted and can be removed. The seat stays have Tubus rack mounts fitted and again will be left installed. The frame has not had a hard life but does have paint loss with some surface rust, frame has no dents or cracks to any welds, the paint on these frames is a little brittle. All decals are intact and unmarked. The chain stays are bridgeless and allow for a 2.4 rear tyre on a. Internal rim 27.5 wheel which is the configuration I used for my off road tours, 60% of the time the bike was used for my daily commute. Frame has never been raced or used aggressively. Bottom bracket is 73mm and the threads are perfect. Seat tube is 27.2. Frame will accommodate a triple chainset. I ran the frame rigid but it will run a suspension fork up to 130mm. Head tube is tapered and so can run straight or tapered forks (headset dependent). Max tyre size 2.4 but you might get a 2.5 dependent on brand in there. 18 Frame would suit anyone from 5.10 to 6.1. I’m 5.11 with a 31 inside leg and used a 100mm stem. Frame will be supplied with a Hope seat collar (black) perfect condition. Hope top headset complete (black) bearings nice and smooth.
