Alpinestars Almega DX Frameset Size: 18 inches from centre of BB to top of top tube and 19 inches from the centre of BB to top of seat tube. Painted by Argos Cycles in Bristol, UK in 2020. The Frameset has been hanging up on show in my workshop for the last few years. There are some marks/damage as detailed below but the Frameset looks amazing and the colours really pop! Retro Schwinn Mountain Bike frame – unidentified. I have researched as much as I can on the t’interweb and through old catalogues to find out what I can but as it is an early mid 90s frame info is limited. From the frame details and spec I believe this to be circa 1995. The Assymetrical chainstays with the dropped right side date from this period and the lack of disc tabs seems to point to it being no later. This may be a homegrown but the colour is unusual for this. However the colour is also unusual for other models from this era. The closest colour scheme I can find is on a photo on a page from the 1995 catalogue showing who I expect to be Tim Gould riding no doubt a race frame from the 1994 season. This is backed up by an ebayer who discovered lots of pictures of Tim riding a bike with this colour scheme on Fat Tyre. Copy and paste this link to have a look! The frame came with high spec components and a’Homegrown’ tomato embroidered saddle so this also points to this maybe being a Homegrown? Another interesting detail I haven’t seen on other Schwinns is the oversizing near the BB junction on the downtube Maybe an experimental thing? Some of the early Homegrowns were made by Control Tech and there does seem to be variations on the early models. I have received a message from another ebayer who bought one of these back in the day who says this is a Homegrown and believes it was one of the Yeti built ones. It has some marks and scuffs and scratches. It appears to have a non original replacement hanger as fit isn’t quite flush. Paint is flaking too. Seat Tube = 19 (480 mm) Centre to Top. Top Tube = 22 (560 mm) Centre to Centre. Weight = 4.31lb/1.955kg.

Handsome Dog Mountain Bike Frame, Rockshox Judy DH Suspension Forks. Nice little frame in good condition with no cracks or dents, just minor marks (small scuffs, little paint chips and shallow scratches) from use. Measures 16″ C-to-T and 13.5″ C-to-C. Mech hanger straight with good threads. For use with 26 wheels and V-brakes. Takes a 31.8mm top pull front mech and 26.8mm seatpost. Rockshox Judy DH forks compress and rebound nicely. Internals in great condition. Stanchions in good condition. Judy FSX brake arch has been modified slightly to accommodate a wider tyre and has been converted from canti hanger to V-brake only. Some scuffs, light scratches and small paint bubbles on the lower legs. FSA Orbit threadless headset and rare, closely colour-matched, short reach, high rise Control Tech stem included.

1990 Klein Attitude Frame Fork Mission Control MC1 Handlebar Vintage Mountain Bike frameset. Please keep checking in on my ad as I will update more info and try to get more photos posted! Size: X-Small (they call it 18 or 46cm). Rare and rare size too! MC1 Stem bar combo: 58cm wide bars, 140mm stem length. Headtude is 9cm. Headset Cap has KLEIN logo. Bottom bracket spins fine. Bike was left in the SUN in sunny California and has FADED. The frame has splatter spots (blue-ish color) from spray paint (see photos). The front left Canti-boss has a sleeve stuck from the original canti brake. You can remove it or simply replace the boss which easily unscrews from the fork if you wanted. This would make an amazing project for someone who wants to get this re-painted! I will include the black XT seatpost, but its not pretty and missing the clamps for the saddle. 12 month old lapierre xcontrol frame in medium. 2015 model frame but was only bought 12 months ago new. Internal cable routing, I’ve left the cable outers in place to make a build easier, has been run 1×11, so the cables were dropper post,, rear mech and rear brake pipe still in place, but if you wanted to use a front mech you can, either swap one of the internal cables to outer etc. Excellent condition, one tiny chip in the paint on the rear triangle. The rear triangle on this model is made from light alloy, front triangle is carbon fibre. Includes- Routed cable outers for seatpost and rear mech. Routed rear brake pipe Shimano type, has caliper fitting one end, hose would require olive/barb insert to fit to lever.
