Yeti Di frame, good condition, has a few chips as to be expected from chain but is very good for a jump bike, has a tapered head tube with Chris king headset and yeti top cap, hope purple seat clamp, all bolt on hose guides are there. Very reluctant sale, always wanted one, very sad to see it go. It is a size small which has a 22.6 top tube.

2014 GT La Bomba DJ frame, it takes 26″ wheels, Small size, Monocoque/Hydroformed XM¨ Frame Forged Bottom Bracket and Dropouts, 1 1/8″ to 1 1/2 Tapered Head Tube, 12x142mm rear axle, MRP chain guard, Hope clamp, Hope top headset, Gravity bottom headset, been repainted in pearlescent white colour, got some small scratches but good condition.

Not to be confused with the more common and less durable aluminium frames, these are ultra tough and equally rare. The idea behind these was to provide a really strong frame, forks, and finishing kit inc chainset, some tough wheels, but keep it affordable by using lower end mechs and V brakes as these would be easy to upgrade in the future. I bought this new many years back, but I had other bikes I was riding at the time, and it felt a bit small, so I never really rode it. Since then I upgraded it slightly with some Avid V brakes (original Tektro weren’t great), new pedals (Kona ones are available but have some paint flake), grips (old ones disintegrated), and a smaller jump specific saddle (not sure where the original is) and gave it to my son to ride. Unfortunately he isn’t a keen rider and has ridden it about 5miles in total I would guess, hence bobbles on tires, and us now taller than me! It is in amazing condition for it’s age (2003/4), and the frame and forks are nearly indestructible and worth loads on their own. The geometry is great, and this is the sought after second generation frame where they modified the seat tube and backstay design to fix the failure point of the MkI (I was a Kona dealer at this point).

Somewhat of a rare pony this one. Really want to keep it, but it’s the time old story, too many projects and not enough space. Plus it’d be a waste of bike for the skills that I have nowadays. I believe it to be original paint and decals, which is nice, in pretty good condition all around really, its obviously been sat around as a project for more of its life than its been ridden for. Scuffs here and there, stuff that will polish out with some effort. Some paint chips from chain slap. And some tyre rub. There’s a crappy paint chip just infront of the seat post clamp from bad storage and moving. I’d say that’s the worst blemish. Original stickers I think with a bunch of period extra stickers which I’m always a fan of and really don’t like taking them off as they really show a place in time where it came from. Has a dmr bb adapter fitted which seems in good order. And, the very very rare original hope rear mount – along with a full set of hope brakes – front and rear. These will absolutely need a full rebuild. The rear lever was separated from the hose as the hose was already messed up and the lever waving around was risking chiping the frame some more, so off it came. Includes seatpost and clamp and 24seven seat. However, sadly and annoyingly it does not include the rear dropout kit. Although it seems these are slightly easier to get a hold of than the hope mount so at least there’s that. A really cool rig. It really deserves some energy to make it great again.
