Up for sale is my Trek Roscoe hardtail. I bought this new in 2019 from Harry Hall Cycles in Manchester with big plans to use it for trail riding in the winter when the roads and weather got too bad. Predictably, it hasn’t worked out that way so I’ve decided to put this up for sale. Bike has probably done less than 300 miles total including a couple of trips to France and a day out at Llandegla. The bike is as per the spec below, the only change is that the tyres have now been set up for tubeless, they still hold pressure but the sealant will be due for a refresh. There are a few dings and marks on the frame as pictured from use and travel. If I had one complaint about the bike it is how thin the paint is, because otherwise its great to ride and handles a wide range of riding – Ive done everything from downhill to totally non technical canal path stuff on it. Mechanically, the bike is in full working order. Please note pedals, bottle cages and computer mount are not included. In the sale I’ll include – the frame, the headset, the stem (35mm Bontrager jobby), 2 axles (one is a bolt through and other one is the stock QR jobbie) and the seat clamp. Bought the bike as a complete just over a year ago and have ridden it everywhere from Surrey Hills, to Snowdon and Lake District and it has genuinely never let me down despite being a 130mm trail bike and has always been an absolute blast. Pedals really well, especially with the Re:Aktiv rear shock and has a flip chip to adjust the head angle/ BB height by a touch (whether you prefer more downhill or uphill capability). Has a fair number of scratches and a couple of paint chips from normal usage which I’ve tried to take photos off but for a bike that’s actually been ridden, I’d say that’s pretty normal. All pivot bearings seem to be holding up really well (I’ve changed a couple) and should last you for quite a bit longer. IF you desire any other parts, such as the fork, wheels, dropper etc, I’m happy to include them in the deal at extra cost.
