Excellent condition, lightly ridden and in good shape for the year with some scratches and scuffs from use. Fox Float RC is in good shape and works well. Cable rub on head tube and on chain stay from dropped chain. Some light tire rub on inside of stays but pivots are all in good shape. Comes with seatpost clamp. Super good looking vintage frame which still handles well and works great. Seat tube center of BB to top- 17. Effective Top Tube- 20. English threaded Bottom bracket. 30.9mm seatpost diameter. 1 1/8 head tube diameter. It has the usual wear and tear, but nothing major (condition is clearly shown in pictures). Cleaned after every ride and carefully maintained, it has just been. Fully serviced (new cables & inners, new brake pads, new chain, brake bleed and lower fork service). This bike is an excellent introduction / intermediate bike that will take you places you have never been before. It can bash through any terrain and you will feel like you are floating on a cloud. In Ready to ride order Eye-catching Black and deep purple colour combo Quality Rockshox Rear Shock and fork Raceface Single speed hollo-tech style chainset Smooth-shifting, reaches all rear cogs Wheelset runs pretty true and has tight and smooth bearings Great used condition! Just The occasional light scuff and the odd small paint chip/touch up. Great used condition with no structural damage whatsoever! Most noticeable mark on the E of the TREK decal (drive side) and a couple of light marks on the forks decal. Fully working Shimano Hydraulic Brake set perform well and give good stopping power Headset and bottom bracket are smooth with no movement 10 speeds available. The bike has no known faults! What To Expect From a Used Bike. A bike retailing at 5K new can have a retail tag of 2K five years on. With this saving though, there are a few things to consider. I do my utmost to be honest with the bikes I sell and present them to you in a valeted condition, ready for their new owner. I try to sell bikes that have been checked over thoroughly, are working well and are ready to ride. This though does not mean the bike has been mechanically reconditioned. Please bear in mind that manufactures advise mountain bikes to have suspension serviced every 200 hours of riding and dropper posts every 400 hours. The brakes along with frame/bottom bracket/headset bearings are suggested to be replaced every 12 months. This does depend on the level of use though. If a bike has a few years on the clock please be mindful and realistic of the wear and tear the bike has. Without stripping a bike down to the frame I can only give my opinion on how components feel and how the bike operates. There may every now and then be the odd thing I miss. Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon 26 Frame (Medium)

Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon Frame. Collection in person only. Here we have a beautiful medium Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon frame for 26 inch wheels – I believe it’s a 2011 model. Certainly the last of the generation before it went to 650b. Good overall condition, very few marks from use, mainly those if any are storage related – almost still looks like brand new. Main area with any noticeable marks is between the seat stays from tyre scuffs. No cracks or serious detrimental damage though. Pivot bearings are original but still run smooth. Shock was upgraded from the stock Fox RP23 to a Float X, which also has a Vorsprung Corset body upgrade for better small bump sensitivity. Shock hasn’t been used for a while – it holds air just fine though and cycles ok, but probably would benefit from a service at some point to keep it running nice. Rear end is 142mm spacing, QR through axle is included, as is a Hope branded seat clamp. Please note you will need to install your own bottom bracket and headset. Will build up into a very capable bike and combined with a long travel fork can hold its own very well on the downhills – from memory its 170mm travel. An ideal upgrade for those who are still die hard 26 wheel fans and wanting to get onto a full suspension rig, or maybe for those building a more retro bike of the period. The last picture shows how I once had it built – pretty cool huh? Genuine reason for sale – I have too many bikes and this isn’t getting ridden. Also need space in my workshop, which is the important bit for me. Collection only though I’m afraid, so please don’t ask me to post – limited resources – ie suitable packaging to post safely, sorry!!! However please ask if you have any further questions.
