Here’s a Litespeed Obed frame from the late 1990s. It’s in good shape and has had just one owner. It’s 3/2.5 tubing and has the nicest welds. It has normal wear including little scratches and cable rub marks. I’m sure it can be cleaned up much more than I did in these pictures. I’m not a Ti expert, so I just gave it a good wipe and cleaned the grease out of the threads. It’s highly likely that Litespeed called this an 18. But, here are my measurements. Headtube: 4.5 or 11.3 cm. Seattube center-to-center: 17.5 or 42.5 cm. Seattube center-to-top of the collar: 19 or 49 cm. Toptube center-to-center (actual): 22 or 56 cm. Toptube center-to-top (virtual): about 22.5 or 57 cm. Headtube: takes a 1 1/8 headset I have a black Cane Creek and a white FSA Orbit if you’re interested. Seatube: takes a 27.2 mm seatpost. I have a black layback Thomson if you’re interested. Seattube collar is original Litespeed and is very light! Bottom bracket shell: English threading. Threads in perfect condition and the surfaces are faced and ready (though I don’t think Litespeeds ever needed to be faced by a bike shop). Seems to measure a bit over 68mm. Brakes: bosses are in excellent condition. Use with some nice V-brakes or some sweet cantilevers! Rear wheel spacing: standard 135 mm QR for a 26 wheel.
