Trek Remedy 9.8 large frame in Marigold yellow with Fox 38 Performance forks, Fox Float Performance rear shock, Bontrager stem and Bontrager carbon handlebars with Nukeproof Horizon press fit SRAM Dub bottom bracket. The frame is in excellent condition with only a few minor marks and dinks. The suspension bearings are perfect with no play in them. The rear shock works perfectly and is in as new condition. The forks have a few marks on them but nothing major. The stanchions are perfect. Serviced this month by TF Tuned so new seals fitted. (Ignore Performance Elite decals, bought the wrong ones when I wanted to replace them). Comes with Kabolt axle. Comes with original knock-block headset spacers and knock-block adaptor so normal stem can be used and x2 alloy spacers for drive side crank (bottom bracket). Please Note: Some of the bearings, on some models (Main Pivot/Seat Tube Pivot) will require removal using a bearing drift as a standard extractor will not work due to the configuration of the bearings. They do this for a reason, they are capable of withstanding much higher loads & abuse! Fuel EX 9.8 & Lower (2017 – 2019): EX 9.8, 9.7, 9,8,7 & 5 Inc all 29′er, 27.5 & Women’s. Fuel EX (2016): EX 9.9, 9.8, 9 & 8. Hardened Chromium Steel balls in a steel cage with a generous grease fill. These are a budget option which we would only advise fitting on older models. Looked after with regular greasing & avoid pressure washers & solvent cleaners they will last well in normal off road riding conditions. MAX Full Compliment (ABEC 3). These are capable of withstanding much higher loadings than the standard caged roller bearings above. Compared to bearings with cages, full compliment bearings have an increased load capacity of around 40% or more. This type of bearing is highly suited to suspension pivots on mountain bikes, where there is a higher load and a lower rotation rate. The whole point of MAX Full compliment bearings is that more balls allow for greater strength in lower rotation, high load applications. Most top end bikes come with these fitted as standard & are designed for hard riding. We do a daily postal drop Mon-Fri. Goods ordered after 2pm will be posted the following day.
