Used very lightly by my other half for family rides. I bought it second hand so has all of the usual marks of a used frame. I have stripped it, cleaned it, regressed the bearings and then rebuilt it. It is in great working order. For 26inch wheels only, it measures 17inches from the centre of the BB to the top of the seat tube.

Collection only from 3 mins from J25, M1. Turner 5 Spot frame with headset only. Frame size large – 19 inch – with DW Link rear end. Very high quality, hand-built in USA, around 2009 – 2010. Frame takes a fork with a straight steerer tube – the head tube is compatible only with forks with a straight steerer, not a tapered steerer. 135mm rear axle spacing. FSA headset installed and included. Seat tube outside diameter is 35mm. I shall include a basic Giant seat clamp if needed. Takes a 30.9mm diameter seat post. Frame size large – measures 19 inches from the centre of the bottom bracket tube, to the top of the seat tube, and has a 22.5 inch top tube, measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube. I bought this frame 2nd hand about 4 years ago. The main triangle has signs of use consistent with age and may have been resprayed at some point as the stickers are on top of the paintwork, rather then under a coat of lacquer, as you would expect of a new frame. The rear triangle has a chromed finish. No play between the front and rear triangles. Rockshox Monarch RT3 Debonair rear suspension shock. The shock’s stanchion is unmarked. Could do with a service as it’s been about 3 years since this frame was built into a bike and ridden. Turner build their frames to last and use bushings at the pivot points, rather than bearings.

Retro 2005 Turner 5 Spot frame with Fox Factory E VOL Float Kashima Coat rear shock. Early 00s Turner 5 Spot frame, Made in USA. This frame is finished in Red with Polished aluminium rear triangle, It is in good used condition for its with some age related scuffs, scratches and marks here and there on the frame. I have tried to show the worst areas of these in the pictures. The polished aluminium rear triangle has dulled over time and there is a couple of marks from chain drop behind where the chainrings sit, These are all purely cosmetic. There is one very tiny dent on the top tube from where the handle bars of another of my bikes fell against it. It is very minor but just want to be completely honest. No play in the pivots and bearings. The rear shock was upgraded to a Fox Float Factory E Vol (Extra volume for running low air pressures) DPS with the factory Kashima Coating. Dual Piston System with 3 positions, Open, Medium and firm options. The shock is in good condition and full working order. Please take a good look over the pictures as I have tried to show the true condition of this frame. The threads on the rear mech hanger, bottle bosses and bottom bracket housing are all in good condition. Cable guides are all good too. The head tube accepts standard 1 1/8th inch external cup headsets. The frame is classed as a Medium I would say at 17 inch. The frame measures 17 inch centre of Bottom bracket to top of seat tube. Inch centre of seat tube to centre of head tube. For 26 inch wheels and 135mm QR rear drop outs. Disc brake only with I. S disc mount fitting. Fox CTD kashima rear Shock. In total the bike has only Been used 3 times in the last 8 years hence the sale. PLEASE NOTE this listing is for the frame and rear shock ONLY, + original turner Seat clamp, and DT Swiss rear axle 142×12. The frame is generally in very good condition having not had that much use, there are some marks as to be expected, the frame is finished in anodised satin black so it’s very durable, there are some small scuffs as to be expected I have tried to show these, there is some cable rub on the linkage from the dropper post cable (see pics). The shock will need a service as it’s not really been used in a while. The frame takes 26 wheels 142×12 rear, a 30.9 Seatpost and a tapered steerer fork. Here’s my Turner 5 spot mountain bike with 17 frame and dw link. The frame is in great condition and overall bikes condition is good. I have for sale. X1 Retro Turner 5 Spot frame. Finished in a candy red front triangle. Uses the same ICT (Instant centre tracking) as Ellsworths from the same era. Colour: Red and Silver. Fork steerer: 1 1/8. BB shell width 73mm. Seat post diameter required: 27.2mm. Rear hub required: 9mm QR x 135mm. Shock: Fox DHX 5.0 Air. Brake mount: Disc, IS fitment. Overall in good condition. No play in the suspension. No leaks from the Shock Rebound adjuster working well. All threads in good condition. Some wear in the form of cable rub marks and scratches. The worst scratches are on the top tube between the cable routing tabs however these can still shine up well as they are in the lacquer not paint. There are 2 small and very shallow stone dents on the underside of the down tube near the BB they’re barely worth mentioning but as always I give full disclosure. Lastly the grease port has gone awol from the rocks main pivot, the previous owner covered the hole with a piece of electrical tape. Sale will include the seat clamp but not the s. For sale is my Turner 5 Spot full suspension frame. A truely excellent all round/Freeride frame, with Fox Float RP23 shock, FSA Pig headset, some bottom bracket shells, and an upgraded metal Turner badge up front. Bushes all feel good, frame is in nice condition with no major damage.. However this frame is used and does have some scratching and cable rubbing here and there that I have tried to show in the pictures. Shock adjuster feels a bit loose and having never had the frame built up I can not comment on the operation of the shock.
