It’s the Gen 1 frame. I’ve owned this from new for about 18 months now. It’s been amazing and done some fantastic rides on it. The 60mm of rear travel definitely helps take the harshness out and allows you to take some more daring lines! Frame size is XXL, but would suit riders from 6’1 and taller. Bike was invisiframed from new, there’s a couple of nicks in it and I’ve photographed the worst. There is a small bit of paint missing on the inside of the dropouts where the chain must have skipped off at some point. Frame comes with BB, headset, bar and stem. Handlebars are OneUp carbon and cut to 760mm, the stem is Bontragers and is 90mm. BB could do with replacing as it’s starting to rumble, headset is spot on though, recently had new bearings fitted. It has Bontragers lockout/dropper lever combo fitted and the lockout is still wired in and works, cable routing for a dropper post and rear mech is still fitted. Frame has the cable tie but that also goes in the downtube with it to make everything tidy. Please note the road fork and Seatpost aren’t included, they’re there solely for the photos.

Includes the very hard to find Shimano M900 XTR front mech. Frame size – 18.5″ which I think they referred to as 19″. Head Tube – 1 1/4. Seat post – Ringle /Answer post. Front Mech – Special Answer Shimano M900 XTR. Manitou 3 shocks in great condition, had a rebuild approx 3 years ago but probably 20 miles use since (on another bike). Answer Manitou ahead Stem. These stems are a serious icon of the early 90′s mountain world, Answer produced products of innovation, light weight; strong and of great design. Size – 1 1/4 and 140mm long. Collection preferred from cambs but could post in a bike box I have, lots of other mint or nos parts available that were bought for this bike.

Nice little frame in good condition with no cracks or dents, just minor marks (small scuffs, little paint chips and shallow scratches) from use. Measures 16″ C-to-T and 13.5″ C-to-C. Mech hanger straight with good threads. For use with 26 wheels and V-brakes. Takes a 31.8mm top pull front mech and 26.8mm seatpost. Rockshox Judy DH forks compress and rebound nicely. Internals in great condition. Stanchions in good condition. Judy FSX brake arch has been modified slightly to accommodate a wider tyre and has been converted from canti hanger to V-brake only. Some scuffs, light scratches and small paint bubbles on the lower legs. FSA Orbit threadless headset and rare, closely colour-matched, short reach, high rise Control Tech stem included.
