Cotic Rocket Frame S Gen4 2020 Enduro Full-Suspension Reynolds 853 Cane Creek IL

For sale is my Cotic Rocket Gen4 (latest) Small frame. Apologies for re-listing this item. The size is definitely a Small and shown as small in the photos, however the listing was coming up (erroneously) as a size Large (wrong size shes a small – keep saying it to avoid any confusion LOL). Ive also dropped the reserve and BIN to generate more interest. This is the 2020 Enduro Full-Suspension Reynolds 853 tubed size SMALL frame. Running a Cane Creek DB IL rear shock. The frame was invisi-wrapped from new; visible in some of the photos. This was bought complete from Cotic in September 20. But with lockdown and muddy conditions in the Peaks I elected to ride an old Hardtail instead and preserve this for the dry warmer months. However I got cold feet that I’d bought a bike more capable then me and decided to swap the frame out for a shorter-travel frame instead. I rode the bike on a 10 mile bridleway’shake-down’ upon receipt. Just to bed the brakes in, check sag, gear indexing, etc. But as I say, with lockdown and wet weather, she went back in the house and had not been used since. Unfortunately a stone has chipped the right seat stay, where the cable exits (see pic) and I didn’t fit the chain guard, so there was some slap on the chain stay (see photo). Otherwise she’s immaculate, as you would expect! Bear in mind that there are NO yellow small Rockets available anymore from Cotic and only a single grey small. This is really your only chance to now own a small yellow Rocket. Please see the Cotic website for full details and sizing. These Rocket bikes are fantastic enduro rigs! Just not getting any use any more of this brilliant bike, and I’m running out of room for bikes just now so something has to go. If you know your bikes, you’ll know what a machine this is, and how many awards it won. This is the limited edition carbon version from 2018 with the’Petrol with Orange’ colour scheme. 130mm travel front and rear. Medium frame in carbon (carbon front end, alloy rear triangle). SRAM Eagle GX 12 speed drive train, with a 500% gear range (new cassette and chain in August 2019). Rockshox Revelation RC fork. Shimano Deore brakes, 180mm front, 160mm rear. KS LEV Integra dropper seat-post, 150mm. 650b wheel set, WTB STp i29 29mm Wide Rims, thru-axles on both, set up as tubeless. Frame, fork and wheels are all full’Boost. Tyres:Maxxis High Roller II TR, 27.5 X 2.3 (front), Maxxis Crossmark II TR 27.5 X 2.25 (Rear). Such a brilliant bike that does everything incredibly well. Everything on it works perfectly. Serviced in August 2019 after coming back from a week in Dalbeattie, and its only been used on a couple of local short trail trips since then. For sale used Trek Fuel EX 8 29 2014 frame, in size Large (19.5). Frame has been modified, front derailleur mount and ISCG tabs have been removed, frame got a complete overhaul in spring, which included all new bearings and a “raw” paint job (old paint removed with glass bead blasting for a matte raw aluminium finish and then covered in a see-through paint/lacquer). The seat stays have a hole drilled in them for routing rear brake hose through the frame. There is also a dent on the down tube near the bottom bracket, but this has been there as long as I have owned the frame and would not think much of it. The paint condition is not completely perfect and has some visible use marks, but I would still rate the frame and paint condition an 8.5/10. Frame weight with rear shock should be around the 3kg mark. Feel free to ask any questions. Size Large (19.5), 29er wheels. 120mm of rear wheel travel. Press-fit bottom bracket (BB). 31.6mm seatpost, easily fits long dropper posts (Crankbrothers Highline in 160mm travel option fitted easily). 142×12 Thru-axle rear wheel. Front derailleur cannot be mounted, so 1x drivetrain only. Rockshox Monarch RT3 184x48mm Rear Shock. Headset bearings (in good condition). Trek original quick-release thru-axle. Spare derailleur hanger (slightly bent, but will work as a quick replacement, would not use for too long). 2009 Specialized Pitch Comp. 26inch wheels, 140mm rear travel, accepts up to 150mm front. Bike has been used quite regularly and has been stellar since I brought it from new. It’s done a couple of trips to the Alps and handles everything I’m able to ride! X Fusion rear shock is in full working order. There is a headset fitted but I’d recommend a new one, or new bearings as it’s been in there a while. Fitted neoprene chainstay cover provided, and specialized seat post collar. I’ve had this is an all-mountain bike until I’ve recently upgraded and it’s been fantastic. It had rave reviews when it was released and that still rings true now. Its a large from 2009, so likely if you’re fitting a short stem it’ll probably fit closer to a modern medium. Or if you like to run longer stems then it’s obviously still a large. I’m 6ft 2 and rode it fine when I had it, more recently my 5ft 8 girlfriend has been riding it with a shorter stem with no problems. The bike has no dents or cracks, but has wear the usual rub marks and scratches that you’d expect. If you want pictures of particular areas I can upload them for you. I’ve had as much as possible covered so it’s not that bad, and still looks in good condition for its age. This will no doubt be a cracking bike for someone looking for their first full suspension mountain bike, and he plenty of life left in it. Any questions please get in touch. The Saracen Kili Flyer 121 full suspension mountain bike is ready to hit the trails. More capable than the 120mm travel suggests this MTB is great fun to ride and snappy under power when compared to longer travel bikes. A well designed frame with trail geometry makes best use of all the available travel. It doesnt blow through travel too quickly so is capable on technical terrain. The Kili Flyer is a competent climber but is most at home when pinning through technical descents. If you want a playful bike with a dialed geometry and simple but efficient suspension system, and you enjoy the descents more than the climbs, the Kili is for you. Frame At the core of the frame is a custom butted 6013 aluminium frame for strength and stiffness without a weight sacrifice. Geometry makes for a fun trail bike with a slack head angle for stability at speed. Upfront a tapered head tube increases stiffness for precision cornering for when the section gets technical. A 15mm bolt through axle on the fork also improves stiffness at the front. There is also internal routing for a stealth dropper post upgrade. Suspension At the rear is the Fox Float CTD shock with Climb, Trail and Descend compression damping modes. This means you can set the suspension to match the section of trail youre riding. The Saracen Kili Flyer has a single pivot design with a linkage actuated suspension system. Tuned Ride Link (TRL) is stiffer than a conventional single pivot. It allows for better control of the shock leverage ratio as the bike move through its travel. The whole system runs on big 30mm pivot bearings for long lasting performance. Fox Float Evolution CTD.
