Type: Mountain Bike steel frameset in teal with original graphics; “Cadenza” top-tube logo and Fuji down-tube branding. Tubing: Tange chromoly (seat-tube decal shows Tange MTB double-butted tubes). Country of origin: Made in Taiwan (per head-tube decal). Includes: Steel frame and matching steel fork, threaded headset parts, installed bottom bracket spindle/cups, seat binder bolt. Extremely rare Scott Team Issue Scandium XC MTB Frame. Weighs only 1050g on my wife’s kitchen scales, one of the lightest frames made at the time. This is a high quality scandium alloy frame, not to be confused with some of the poor quality low scandium content frames. No disc mounts, for V-brakes only. Old school hardtail cross country frame for 26 wheels. Owned from new by me, from the early 2000s, had very little dry weather use before being dry stored. Was built up as a lightweight flat bar gravel bike (before the term had been coined) to complement my Gary Fisher that I used for XC riding. In extremely good condition for a frame that has been ridden. There are some marks, which I’ve tried to show in the photos, but it still looks really nice. Dimensions: 54cm c-c top tube 38cm c-t seat tube 43cm c-c seat tube. I’m 5’10 and like a small frame with a good amount of seatpost. My wife is 5’4 and can ride my mountain bikes (with a lower saddle). I don’t think anyone taller than 5’10″ would be able to ride this comfortably, but between 5’4″ and 5’10 certainly could.

I believe this to be a Raleigh Ravine from circa 1992. The frame is in pretty tidy condition though the decals have been removed. The paintwork is pretty good apart from some scratches. The inner chain stay is rubbed (you can see where I have removed the protector) – Personally, this wouldn’t be a problem for me as I’d cover it with a protector but I want the listing to be warts and all. The tubing is Reynolds K2 which I believe was made exclusively for this line of Raleigh bikes. Other than that, there are a whole load of brand new parts. The bars are new as are the lock on grips and Dia Compe brake levers. The rear cantis are new. The wheels have been rebuilt with DT spokes on to NOS Alivio hubs and I have used Billy Bonkers tyres. The cassette (7 speed) is also new as is the Charge Spoon saddle. All in all, this is a surprisingly light bike and very pleasant to ride. It feels pretty quick on pavement and I’m sure would handle off road pretty well if you were to replace the tyres – the current tyres are good for light and dry off reading. Any other questions, please ask. As always, I’d rather collection in person or I can meet up within a reasonable distance of my home on Anglesey (say 100 miles) for a contribution to fuel costs.
