For sale is a timeless Raleigh Yukon mountain bike in a stunning red-to-orange fade. Built with the legendary Reynolds 501 All Terrain steel tubing – this vintage MTB is tough, comfortable, and full of character. Perfect for everyday rides or collectors who love that retro vibe! I believe this to be a Raleigh Ravine from circa 1992. The frame is in pretty tidy condition though the decals have been removed. The paintwork is pretty good apart from some scratches. The inner chain stay is rubbed (you can see where I have removed the protector) – Personally, this wouldn’t be a problem for me as I’d cover it with a protector but I want the listing to be warts and all. The tubing is Reynolds K2 which I believe was made exclusively for this line of Raleigh bikes. Other than that, there are a whole load of brand new parts. The bars are new as are the lock on grips and Dia Compe brake levers. The rear cantis are new. The wheels have been rebuilt with DT spokes on to NOS Alivio hubs and I have used Billy Bonkers tyres. The cassette (7 speed) is also new as is the Charge Spoon saddle. All in all, this is a surprisingly light bike and very pleasant to ride. It feels pretty quick on pavement and I’m sure would handle off road pretty well if you were to replace the tyres – the current tyres are good for light and dry off reading. Any other questions, please ask. As always, I’d rather collection in person or I can meet up within a reasonable distance of my home on Anglesey (say 100 miles) for a contribution to fuel costs.

Vintage californian built Trek Y11 carbon frame full suspension mountain bike. Left crank arm was threaded and has been replaced with a generic one from Halfords. Needs some TLC and restoration. Signs of use from almost 30 years, however it’s not actually been rode that far or often. Original group set rims brakes and suspension(pads have been changed) Plenty of small scratches and dings and the label on the from of the frame has peeled off.

Beautiful Condition high gloss metallic aubergine finish with very few marks or scratches for a 30 year old mountain bike. A genuinely very rarely ridden and dry stored since new in 1993! Almost impossible to find Merida MATTS Comp in this colour scheme. 18.5 inch Centre BB to Centre Top Tube. 20 inch Centre BB to Top Seat Tube. 23 inch Top Tube. Hardtail MTB Frame + Fork for 26 inch Wheels. Three bottle cage mounting areas including under down tube : would make a great super lightweight touring or retro gravel bike. Canti brake bosses only. DiaCompe Aheadset and front brake cable hanger. Merida OEM Seat Clamp Quick Release. OEM Seat Post 350mm x 30.6 mm. All my bike frames are packed very well into heavy duty bicycle boxes from my local bike dealer, including added bubble wrap and other packing materials.
