1997 Yeti DH Team Issue frame. This is something you don’t see everyday. I acquired the frame by itself, and took my time to acquire the parts to build it up. I’ve had it for quite a while, and had it built up in both “period correct” and “modern” configurations. Besides a few test rides around the neighborhood, I had it on dirt just once in all the years I’ve owned it, and the performance was awesome. The last two pictures are the two different configurations I had it built as. Pretty rare, even by Yeti standards. Serial number 21 97. Two piece upper swingarm. Unknown team rider: was it Sabrina Jonnier? I’m not sure… She would have been a junior in 1997… The sticker was peeled before I got it, and looks to read SABR… ” If it read “SARI… (for Sari Jorgenson), I would be still keeping this frame! I had a crush on her back in the 90′s, as you might have had too! If you want to build it up, please note that you’ll need the rear Hope wheel, and the Hope C2 rear brake I haven’t listed these yet. I’m still getting them prepped and ready for sale… I have quite a few other special Hope spare parts I’ll be listing as well. I’ll update this ad when I get the C2 brake and Hope / Mavic D521 wheel up for sale. As far as I know, only this Hope rear hub and specific caliper will fit on this frame. No other will fit..
