Offered for sale is a rare Momo carbon-fibre bike. It unusual in many ways in that it has a belt drive (no oily chains) and is collapsible/foldable. Ill try and add a picture in its folded state later. Its a fairly large frame which is currently set up for myself being 183cm, however it would suit anyone between 156 and 190cm (or taller with a different seat post). The actual dimensions are 54cm from centre of stem to centre of seatpost, and 58.5 centre of bottom bracket to top of seat tube. Momo are an Italian design company that started out making steering wheels for sports cars. Like a few other top companies such as Porsche and Ferrari, they branched out into a design house, hence this rare bike, probably from the 1980s. It has 7 hub gears changed by handlebar twistgrip. The rear brake is cable operated, however the front is an hydraulic disc. Some of the components are as follows: anodized deep dish rims, stainless steel spokes, Animal pedals, Fizic titanium saddle, carbo fibre seat post.. Hopefully you can get more information from the pics. The bike weighs 15kilos.. Bike is currently in Surry Hills, about 15min walk from Central Station.
