NINER RIP RDO 2017 Large Carbon Frame , 29er or 650b – 150mm travel for a 160 or 170mm fork. RIP 9 RDO carbon for sale in excellent condition. The frame has been Invisiframed from new and it has done it’s job, there are a few marks on the invisiframe. Pictures show old frame, new bearings installed in pivots during repair. This builds into an awesome bike with a 160 or 170 mm fork, I just don’t need this much travel anymore. Any questions let me know, frame info below. Seat tube (inside diameter): 30.9 mm. Great condition Cotic Soul LARGE (48cm) frame. (QR rear end dropouts). (With custom Red Cotic Decal). This Reynolds 853 Steel frame gets great reviews for very good reason, it is a GREAT BIKE, can take up to 140mm forks, a true hard hitting hardtail. The frame has the invisiframe frame kit fitted (top tube part removed to remove custom decals underneath) Frame is in great condition bar 2 little dents in the top tube where it fell against a door frame. (gutted) But the Cotic Soul is a very tough bike so still ride and handles as normal and no ill effect apart from been cosmetic. Threaded BB so no creaking like pres fit BB. The chart is a guide to frame size. Our original Ultra Compact Geometry was designed around a 100mm travel fork as a minimum. The original geometry also assumed a layback seatpost. Running forks longer than 100mm (most people use 120mm on their Soul these days) shortens the reach (distance from bars to BB) and running an inline or dropper post (which are usually inline clamp) shortens the position from the other end of the bike, squeezing the room available to the rider. Takes the rider position we originally intended for 100mm forks on the original Soul and then maintains it for a 27.5 wheel frame layout with 120mm forks installed and an inline seatpost. This has meant lengthening the top tube at the front end to compensate for the longer forks, and slackening the seat angle at the rear to swing an inline seatpost into the same saddle clamp position as a layback version. The resulting geometry makes the frames look long on the top tube compared to what you might be used to on a traditionally designed 26 wheel bike. However, the new layout is simply tuned for proper position on inline or dropper posts, but the BB, head tube, bars and the saddle are all in the same places as the usually are on a Cotic bike. The effect is to make the top tubes look long when the reach is comparable to our usual sizing. Top Tube Length (Effective). All measurements are based on 120mm travel fork with 20% sag i. Here we have a good condition orange five frame, admittedly it does have a inch and 8th steerer for older forks, but may possibly fit the matchmaker nukeproof bottom cup to allow tapered forks. Fits a 27.5 rear wheel in the frame and has been tested with the rear shock full depressed to see if it hits and it doesn’t, rear dropout is for qr skewer, shocks in great condition.
