Great neo retro 29 MTB build project! A very nice frame! A little bit of TLC and this will be a great frame! 29 12×142 thru-axle hub rear wheels. Takes 1 1/8 – 1.5 tapered steerer fork. Original sealed bearing headset included. If you are after a neo-retro bike build, this is the one! Make your friends green with envy with this very good condition legendary frame from the tried, tested, and always reliable Specialized. This is a circa 2012 frame. Takes 29 12×142 axle rear hub. Included bottom bracket needs to be replaced (including it in case you need the parts). Includes sealed bearing headset. The frame have been stripped of paint as owner was planning to polish to mirror-finish. Good thing about it is that we can easily see that there are no cracks or dents. There are marks here and there consistent with a lightly to moderately used frame. Owned by an elderly gentleman, this hasn’t seen much dirt. Used mostly on bike paths. No dents, no cracks. Shock works and holds air but not aware when it was last serviced. You would need to get new 12×142 rear thru-axle and rear derailleur hanger and seatpost clamp (all cheap parts). These classic 29er frames from Specialized cost a lot more! Either have it repainted or polish to mirror-like shine. Photos will describe condition of frame.
