Fox Float CTD Kashima Shock recently serviced by TF tuned so all good to go. Frame is in good condition with normal wear. Frame has been invisi taped in all major wear areas. Custom painted Giant Reign 2017 aluminium frame-set. 160mm travel, fox float x kashima rear shock, rear is non boost spacing, fits standard 1.5 – 1 1/8 fork with headset supplied, headtube is 110mm in case you are checking if your fork will fit. The original colours were lime/black, had it professionally stripped, painted and re-built about 6 months ago. All frame/pivot bearings are good, no play. Some cosmetic damage as per norm. Whyte 146 Full Carbon Mountain Bike Frame in a size Medium – Great working condition. Upgraded with a Fox Float RP23 Factory Kashima shock, headset parts included (including lower race which is not pictured), will require new headset bearings as they are not supplied. Frame bearings are smooth, one pivot sometimes feels like it has a tiny amount of play in it, but I can’t currently feel it. Absolutely no play otherwise. Shock has a tiny amount of air in it, but it has nearly always been like this, it feels smooth and all adjustments function fine, just has a little squelch. It does have some cosmetic marks here and there, it has heli tape fitted to various places to protect the frame. Absolutely NO cracks or major damage to the frame. A very presentable frame. A superb bike once built up, lovely geometry and a great agile feel. The shock has various settings which are easy to adjust mid ride and propedal lever is easily accessible when riding. The frame is nice and light. Suitable for 26 wheels, 142x12mm rear axle width. 2013 Transition Covert CF Carbon Mountain Bike Frame. Full Carbon Front Triangle + Seat Stays. Satin Glitter Yellow Colour. 165mm Travel (for use with 160-180mm travel fork). Size – BB to Clamp = 18 (Medium). Fox Float CTD Kashima 216 x 63. Up to 2.5 Tyre. IS Rear Caliper Fitting. 142mm x 12mm Rear Axle (Included). PF30/BB30 Bottom Bracket Shell. 31.6mm Seatpost Fitment. This is a superb opportunity to own a stunning Covert CF Carbon enduro race frame. Lightweight, bombproof and easy on the eye, these frames build into seriously competitive bikes. It has all the latest features including internal cable routing, stealth seatpost routing, PF30 BB shell and tapered headtube. Although billed as a 26″ wheeler, this frame has been running 27.5 Hope Hoops with 27.5 x 2.4″ Maxxis High Rollers for the past 2 years. There is plenty of clearance on these frames and the only slight issue with the bigger wheels is the very top of the tread catching the seat tube when bottomed out. You can see some light marks from where this has occurred. This frame has just been dismantled and rebuild. The main pivot bearings have been replaced and the others are all in great shape. The shock is lovely and smooth with no slurping and the adjustments appear to all be working fine. The frame has been well used as you’d expect. It has some cosmetic marks from heal rub on the stays, tyre scrub, bike rack marks and a few stone chips. There are also some very fine splits in the paint around the key stress points which is normal for painted carbon frames (the paint becomes brittle as it ages whereas the carbon retains its flexibility). These are all purely cosmetic and standard for used enduro frames. Thanks for looking and please see our other MTB listings :O. Heavily used but no cracks or holes. The bearing could be glued or some other method, but I ride a lot so want/need another bike. The frame comes with the headset bearings, press-fit BB (new approximately 5 rides ago) and all other frame bearings replaced late last year plus a rear axle. The shock is a Fox Factory Kashima, and works perfectly. It’s a 1x model, a 2015 Expert. It’s a Large frame and would suit folk from about 5’8″ upwards – I’m 6’2″ and have been running it with a 170 Reverb for the last couple of years. Any questions, call me 07795 256857 Bruce.
