This is a superb opportunity to own a stunning Covert CF Carbon enduro race frame. Lightweight, bombproof and easy on the eye, these frames build into seriously competitive bikes. It has all the latest features including internal cable routing, stealth seatpost routing, PF30 BB shell and tapered headtube. Although billed as a 26″ wheeler, this frame has been running 27.5 Hope Hoops with 27.5 x 2.4″ Maxxis High Rollers for the past 2 years. There is plenty of clearance on these frames and the only slight issue with the bigger wheels is the very top of the tread catching the seat tube when bottomed out. You can see some light marks from where this has occurred. This frame has just been dismantled and rebuild. The main pivot bearings have been replaced and the others are all in great shape. The shock is lovely and smooth with no slurping and the adjustments appear to all be working fine. The frame has been well used as you’d expect. It has some cosmetic marks from heal rub on the stays, tyre scrub, bike rack marks and a few stone chips. There are also some very fine splits in the paint around the key stress points which is normal for painted carbon frames (the paint becomes brittle as it ages whereas the carbon retains its flexibility).
