Stunning little piece of kit, can say it’s one of a kind and the best speced Yeti on the market. This here it’s my best bike ever had and I had a few. Bike been freshly serviced, reciept provided, on 10.02.2020 and not ridden since. Excellent condition as been invisiframed from new. Will provide a new set of bearing as well the Yeti grease gun and the Yeti touch up paint. Bike will come with new set of wheels, DT SWISS XM481 on Hope Pro4 Orange hubs with 3 months used Michelin Wild Enduro 27.5×2.40 running tubeless with orange Muc off valves. Could swap the whole drive train to the New SRAM AXS XO1 12 speed group set which is still brand new in box or a light used SRAM Eagle XX1 12 spd Gold setup of course for additional cost (please get in touch for more info). 1997 Yeti DH Team Issue frame. This is something you don’t see everyday. I acquired the frame by itself, and took my time to acquire the parts to build it up. I’ve had it for quite a while, and had it built up in both “period correct” and “modern” configurations. Besides a few test rides around the neighborhood, I had it on dirt just once in all the years I’ve owned it, and the performance was awesome. The last two pictures are the two different configurations I had it built as. Pretty rare, even by Yeti standards. Serial number 21 97. Two piece upper swingarm. Unknown team rider: was it Sabrina Jonnier? I’m not sure… She would have been a junior in 1997… The sticker was peeled before I got it, and looks to read SABR… ” If it read “SARI… (for Sari Jorgenson), I would be still keeping this frame! I had a crush on her back in the 90′s, as you might have had too! If you want to build it up, please note that you’ll need the rear Hope wheel, and the Hope C2 rear brake I haven’t listed these yet. I’m still getting them prepped and ready for sale… I have quite a few other special Hope spare parts I’ll be listing as well. I’ll update this ad when I get the C2 brake and Hope / Mavic D521 wheel up for sale. As far as I know, only this Hope rear hub and specific caliper will fit on this frame. No other will fit.. The frame was brought new in May 2016 and has had an Invisi frame kit on it from new. This has now been removed and the frame polished up, as you can see the frame is pretty mint. There are a few stone chips which have been touched up-mainly underneath the bottom bracket area as per photo. Frame – Yeti SB6 2016 Large. Forks – Rockshox Pike Non-Boost, 160mm, solo air, Custom graphics. Wheels – F Hope on Raceface ARC 27 (non boost), R Fulcrum Red power (boost), Onza Ibex tyres 2.4 tan wall (1 ride old). Brakes – Sram Guide R, recent bleed. Shifter – Sram GX 11 speed. Mech – GX 11 speed. Cranks – GX 11 speed, new bottom bracket. Seatpost- Rockshox Reverb, recent service. Seat- WTB yeti branded. When originally built, I fitted a Rockshox Monarch rear shox so the original Fox has had zero use. Also included is the front wheel to match the rear (Fulcrum Red power), I never got round to getting a Boost set of forks for the bike. This bike has been lovingly looked after and I’ll be sad to see her go, she’s handled everything from all day xc epics to big uplift days but I just can’t justify keeping her. Bike is located in Taunton but willing to meet at any of the M5 services between Gordano down to Exeter. Would much rather the bike collected in person, due to bad experiences in the past.
