I built this up as a’dream’ bike with full Deore XT 10 speed with Hollowtech II chains and some new-old-stock parts. Sadly running out of space and need to consolidate. There are chips to the paintwork – due to it’s age the paint comes off quite easily and I’ve not ridden the bike very much (saving it for’best’) and it’s always been kept indoors and treated with love and tenderness. Even with this care it’s still got some paint loss. I’d recommend either getting it lacquered or professionally resprayed to give it the glory it deserves with fresh decals – kinda wish I’d done that! Structurally it appears sound with no dents.
