Cove Hustler 29er with 130mm rear travel through upgraded Rockshox Monarch RT3 Debonair shock (far, far better than the original Fox). This is / was a medium 18inch seat tube frame but I had it professionally cut down to 16 inch seat tube. All geometry is shown in last picture, this has the same top tube and everything else as the Medium 18 inch frame, just with a shorter 16 inch seat tube. There is a small hole in the top tube just in front of the seat tube as shown in the photo which I have had covered up with a small sticker. This is where the seat tube reinforcement used to join the top tube before being removed by a professional metal works company. I have owned this frame for about 2.5 years but have mainly ridden my hardtail in that time. I only rode this for trips abroad or to the Lake District etc or for Gravity Enduro races – I use the hardtail for all local riding. I’ve had it built with a 140mm Pike fork although it suits anything from 120-150mm. It weighs 3.3kg including shock and Maxle as pictured. The shock was serviced around 8 months ago and works as new. It does have some marks and scuffs on the can (mainly from sliding water bottle in and out of bottle cage) but the shaft is unmarked with no signs of wear. The frame looks good but does have some paint chips, scratches and deep cable here and there although nothing that effects the strength of the frame. Pivot bearings were replaced around a year ago and all operate smoothly with no play. While taking photos and turning the frame over I noticed a light rattle like something small (a bit of grit / small metal flake) is loose inside the frame – the right chainstay I think. I never ever noticed this when the bike was built up and it will not be an issue but I thought I should point it out. The headset is not included but the headtube fitting is 44mm upper and 56mm lower IDs. It takes a 12×142 bolt thru rear wheel (Maxle included) and a 31.6mm diameter seatpost. It uses a standard threaded BB (73mm shell) has ISCG-05 mounts and takes a direct mount front mech. This really is a great frame that makes a fantastic All Mountain / trail bike. I’ve loved owning and riding it but recently got tempted by a 150mm travel Nukeproof Mega 29er.
