Giant Trance 3 Medium frame 26 inch wheel – this is a proper mountain bike and not some cheap rubbish from the high-street. This is my sons bike which we have had for about a year but he is growing out of it (Medium frame is I understand for someone about 5ft 5inches to 5ft 9inches). Rock shox front suspension Fox rear. Great bike and all working as it should. He claims she only did about 30 miles on it which both I and my local bike mechanic believe to be true. There are a couple of scratches on the frame which happened while it was unused in his shed. We bought it after they divorced and it was still on the original tyres which it still is. It has had very little use and no real signs of wear. We have fitted slime tubes. Giant Trance 1 Full Suspension Mountain Bike. Good to excellent condition in full working order (serviced 10 months ago so may possibly need another at some point soon). A few usual wear and tear marks/stone chips (due to the colour of the bike they are hardly noticeable) and the gears need a little tuning. Great looking bike and gives a great ride over the toughest terrain. 2018 Giant Trance Advanced 27.5 boost frame size Medium. Included DVO Topaz 2 rear shock which is about 4 months old. I had this paired with 160mm travel FOX 36 in the front and this thing was an Enduro Machine. Climbs great while still being stable on the downhills. The frame is “boost” in the rear, downtube swingarm and linkage have been covered in 3M helicopter tape since I built it up. Some of the rubber grommets for the cable ports in the frame are not installed in the pictures but they will all be put on the bike and included. Bike is alloy frame There are a few blemishes from cable rub, which I tried to capture, but overall the bike is in excellent shape. Zero dents anywhere on the frame. There are surface scratches on the frame but nothing deep and no dents. 27.5 (650b) wheel size Made from Giant’s Aluxx SL aluminium alloy, which is super light and strong. Upgraded to 142 x 12mm bolt through axle rear, axle included along with a QR seat clamp, headset and bottom bracket. I upgraded the original shock in 2017 to a Fox DPS Evol and got the shop that supplied it to remove the internal travel limiter so that it now has 158mm of travel, I have also added one token to increase the mid travel support. It rides super plush!! I’ve also added one offset bushing to the top shock mount to increase the head angle by half a degree. This frame is rated for up to 160mm travel forks, I ran Rockshox Pike 160′s and it suited the back end well creating a 65.5 degree head tube angle. I’ve included a front derailleur blanking plate to neaten it if you want to run 1x gearing. I replaced two pivot bearings in the summer and there is no play in any of the bearings now. Super supple ride with 3 shock settings for descending, trail and climbing. Build it up into a real trail shredder! Will pack and post in bike box. No reserve so good luck!!!!! Update: the offset shock bushing reduces the head angle by half a degree (not increase).
