This is my sale of a 2013 Orange Five Pro mountain bike frame. Finished in black this frame looks stunning and is definatly one of the better looking frames I’ve done recently. This is a 26″ wheel frame, and is size 18″ so suitable probably for a rider from about 5’8″ to 5’10″, I’m 5’10 and it was certainly ok for me. A single pivot bike, these are simplicity at its best, but perform extremely well. Manufactured by hand in the Orange Halifax factory, the service backup from Orange is also a great addition. This being the Pro frame the rear axle is a Maxle style axle which certainly stiffens up the rear swingarm nicely. And plus, this is a 2013 frame so the headtube is the new style tapered setup. So this will open up a great deal more forks for you to use on this bike. The Monarch shock is air spring, and had adjustments for compression and rebound. When I received this frame, as a full bike, it did need some TLC. So I stripped it to its bare components, and then 3 stage polished the paint once the decals were removed. Frame bearings were shot, so these have been replaced straight away. The shock has been given an air can service, and the hardware bushings checked over and cleaned. Once I was happy with the functioning parts, I applied brand new decals custom made for this bike. The frame has also had a blue CNC machined seat collar from Superstar Components, as well as Uber Bike bearing caps with blue bolts. All new hose bungs fitted to the rear swingarm, plus brand new plastic hose clips on the main triangle. Brand new bolts fitted to the bearing clamps also. Overall condition is pretty good for its age. I have highlighted in the images some of the worst marks. After mopping the frame with a polisher I was able to remove most of the hairline marks you get with age, and it now gleams in the sunlight. But there will be some other marks from transportation and cable rub. This is a 10 year old frame, and I have seen a lot lot worse condition bikes of this year. This frame deserves to be built into a nice bike park slayer now. Any other questions please message me. Price represents condition and work completed. My frame has all new decals, a fresh polished finish, a serviced shock, new bearings and new ancillaries like seatclamp etc. All these other frames do not. My price is where it is as the work is all done. There are no others with this level of work completed.
