I have had lots of bikes and these were my favourite pride and joy but I have to clear items out and make space and sadly this bike has to go. This was the top of the range Specialized S-Works Carbon frame Stumpjumper. They build into a great bike for all occasions. It is in very good condition but has been used as a mountain bike so it does have the usually chips, scratches wear and rub marks that are associated with off road riding but it has had helicopter tape on the frame protecting it in vulnerable places. They are fairly a rare bike and a pleasure to own and ride. The frame is a medium and will suit many different sizes. It measures about 450mm from crank centre to top of seat post tube. More than capable of uplift days and Alpine DH holiday, it is nimble and capable on the ascents too. An extremely light bike which is really easy to handle. Specialized AFR Brain Rear shock. The specialized brain incorporated with this rear shock is an external device that reacts to trail bumps. The external device, the Trail Tune Inertia Valve, is a cylinder with a moving piston inside. This piston works as a valve that opens and closes the oil flow to the shock. On smooth terrain, the bias spring holds the piston over the flow port, which stops the oil flow and keeps the shock firm for ultimate efficiency. When you hit a bump, the piston stays put and the shock body moves upward. This action exposes the flow port, which allows oil to flow and provides fully active rear shock for maximum control. As the terrain smooths out, the piston immediately covers the flow port, restricting the oil flow and immediately delivering maximum pedalling efficiency. The sensitivity of the piston movement is adjustable by an external dial on the top of the Brain. So if youd like the suspension to react to smaller or bigger bumps all you have to do is setup the dial according to your preference.
