On-one Fatty Trail blue Large 26 frame & rigid Fatty forks – NEW – unused (PLEASE READ DETAILS BELOW) – RARE – (They don’t manufacture these anymore). The Fatty trail was highly sought after and rated as one of the best Fatbike framesets ever made. Blue frame is aluminium, white fork is Steel. PLEASE NOTE : This is a 26 frameset for a FAT BIKE mountain bike. It requires FAT bike spec components. IMPORTANT : Also – this On-one frame has a tapered headtube. The forks are manufactured by On-one also but are 1 1/8 straight steerer – in other words not tapered. By design the fork and frame work with each other BUT ONLY with the use of a headset reducer aheadset. These are not expensive. This is standard practice with On-one Fatty frames. Note example pic is of a white Fatty frame – taken from the internet. Fat bikes obviously do not take standard parts that other mountain bikes take because they are deliberately oversized, wider, etc. I was planning on building up a fat mountain bike but it never happened – been in storage and never fully built up or ridden. Ideal if you want to get into Fat bikes and have other components which are compatible. I’ve listed all the specs below. PLEASE NOTE: I’ve just retrieved the frame & forks from storage to take pics. There are minor paint chip marks around the frame’s dropouts & headtube. Forks have none and are in excellent condition. Thinking back regarding the frame this is due to offering up the rear wheel I had planned to use for this to the dropouts & also seeing if a headset I had at the time was compatible. The wheel’s QR would have been tightened at the time hence the indentations. I also had slid the forks in temporarily at one point, & the same with a seapost temporarily. This was all done with the packaging still on. Then they were separated & it has been in storage ever since. The rest of the paintwork is fine. You can tell it’s not been used before because the rear mech threads, Bottom bracket threads & the top of the seat post show no signs of wear. So just frame & forks for sale, (No wheel, headset or seatpost – just to be clear) : FYI White dust/flecks on the frame are from the polystyrene foam. 26inch Fatty trail frame (large) blue and yellow alloy frame (Large frame would suit 6.0 – 6.4ft rider). A long 55mm fork offset dials the 68 deg head angle perfectly in to trail riding up and down, with a light touch when you need it and stability when things get bouncy. Futureproofed with a 470mm fork length, we’re ready for the fat front suspension revolution too. Our Fatty runs a standard 9mm front axle with regular rear standard disc brake spacing. It’s the same with both our carbon and chromoly forks – everything just swaps over. Weight: 1.3kg/2lb 14oz. 470mm axle to crown. 1 1/8inch straight steerer. (These are large items to post).
