As such it has not covered many miles before being dismantled back to a bare frame. Has a few cosmetic dings, chips, and scuffs, but is generally in good used condition. Includes sliding dropouts (inc gear hanger), rear thru axle and cable guides. We have also designed the FF29 with adjustable dropouts so that riders can optimise the rear stay length for their style of riding. This also gives the opportunity to set the frame up as a single speed. The FF29 is long, low, and stable with a steep seat tube and long reach numbers – the frame is actually sized by reach and is designed for use with a dropper post. It’s slack but this bike is no slacker – with a head angle of 65.5º, you get a nimble, agile feel at the bars for singletrack hacking. We wanted an all-day hard-charging fully capable 29 hardtail bike based around a 140mm fork, the sort of bike most of us ride here on the South Downs. Most manufacturers use Hydroformed tubes, but with SPF we can create lighter tubes and more intricate shapes that will build into a lighter and stiffer frameset.
