This was bought as a project, the paintwork was very faded and although still protecting the metal, I decided to respray the faded Orange bits. Original decals masked off, and rattle cans used, so not a professional finish. In fact could be used as a rogue’s gallery of how not to refinish a bike frame! Some abrasions, particularly on the top tube seen in all photos, except second which details this, and around cage bosses on down tube have been rubbed and touched up in plain white. Some crackling of primer coat visible through top coat, notably headtube and bottom bracket underside. Not the right fluoro Orange as used originally. So not a great finish, but looks ok from a few yards, and will provide good protection for this useful frame for a while. Lower crudcatcher boss fixing snapped off in frame boss. Rear brake hose mounts were originally solid rings, a bit of a pain, because I wanted to be able to remove rear brake without cutting and reconnecting hose each time, so these have been cut along and can be opened and shut a little to allow easier removal and securing of hose with odd zip tie.
