Marin Bear Valley steel frame and forks. Painted in metallic light blue with royal blue front forks, stem, handlebars and mudguards. Would make a great mountain bike or gravel bike. Takes 26″ wheels or 27.5″ with gravel bike tyres on. Converted to take disk brakes, 160 mm on front and 180mm rear. Stripped of all existing bosses and fitted with new bosses that re-routed the cable under the down tube and rear frame. Bosses to take rear Mudhugger mudguard. Three bosses each side on the front fork. New helmet, painted in same colour s as frame. New handlebars and stem. Mudhugger mudguards front and rear. To take 180mm disk on rear and 160 mm on front.

Not used since restoration. 19.5 seat tube centre of bb to top of tube. The frame has been sandblasted and all old bosses removed. New bosses added. 3 each side of the front forks for bike backing. 3 each side of rear stay to hold rear Mudhugger mudguard. Front boss on front fork to hold 160mm disc caliper. Rear boss to hold 180mm brake calliper. 3 on underside of down tube to hold bosses to reroute cables. 3 each side underneath of rear lower stay to hold rerouted cables. Repainted in Raleigh Team Colours yawing decals from HHLloyds. Colour coaxed handlebars and stem. Takes 27.5 (650b) wheels. SRAM 1x 11 drive train. SRAM NX gear changer. Cables – inner and outer. SRAM NX one by chainset and bottom bracket. Continental Terrace Trail 40mm gravel tyres. Shimano mechanical brake callipers. Mudhugger mudguards front and rear. Use a few times. Fulcrum 650b Rapid Red 9000 wheel set. Selle Italia carbon saddle.

Brother Cycles Big Bro bike steel frame. Designed for both 29er or 27.5+ tyres. Includes frame, forks, integrated headset, Thomson seat post and two sets of rear axle mounts (one for thru axle, one for quick release). Great full rigid bike frame ideal for bike packing, general off road riding and adventure biking. Barely used so looks virtually new, just a couple of small chips in fairly discreet places (tried to show some in the pictures). No dings, dents or other damage. This pink frame is now discontinued and has been replaced by fairly generic colours- a shame as it looks amazing. My husband’s bikepacking dream for 2021 has died before he’s got it off the ground so this lovely Fargo frameset plus extras is for sale. It is a size Small. Work commitments and personal circumstances mean that he’s not going to be able to build this up as planned for a trip or two next year, a situation not helped by the pandemic. He bought this fantastic Fargo frameset from the first owner who had very carefully ridden it and looked after it’s every need. It’s had an easy life as can be seen from the condition of the frame in the photographs with only the lightest of marks to speak of. Also included is the (very expensive) carbon Firestarter fork, an Alternator rack specific to Salsa’s bikes with the attaching rods cut to size to fit the Fargo by the previous owner, a new 80mm Salsa Guide alloy stem and a used Salsa Guide alloy seatpost as well as new set of Alternator dropouts which have been fitted to accommodate the 142mm spacing on the Hunt Trail Wide 27.5 wheelset that is seen in the photos. The normal set up for the dropouts is 148mm. The frameset is designed to take 27.5 x 3″ tyres or 29″ by 2.4 tyres. The only thing not included in the listing is the pair of Hunt Trail Wide wheels. They are available if required – please contact for details. However, please bear in mind that the bike has the non-boost fork and is designed around 27.5+ geometry. Salsa specify not to go lower on the BB than 2.8″ tyres so the 2.4″ ones shown on the Hunt wheels would not be suitable. However, Hunt do say on their website that their 30mm inner rim Trail Wide wheels will accept up to 2.8 tyres. The fork is non-boost unlike the very latest model so this might limit your wheel options which might make the Hunt’s an attractive proposition. They are in very good order apart from marks commensurate with use and a small ding on the rear which does not affect rideability. Any questions, please ask. Up for sale today is a brand new Surly ECR frame. This frame was only removed from the packaging to take these pictures. I had plans to build it up, but decided to go a different route. Check out my other listings for a set of Surly Rabbit Hole wheels that were built up for this bike. This is the ultimate bikepacking and off-road touring bike, but it can be built up for just standard mountain bike riding as well. This frame is Dark Green in color the stickers are white. It is made out of double-butted 4130 Chromoly steel. It has an ED coating to prevent rust and increase life expectancy. This frame has just about every mount and cable routing that you could ever need. The rear has mounts for racks and finders. The is cable routing for front and rear derailleurs. The rear dropouts accommodates a Rohloff Speedhub torque arm and all of the routing for the dual cables that it needs. The downtube has a triple bottle mount on the top and a standard double on the bottom. The top and downtubes are gusseted where they meet the headtube. There is also a nice looking gusset where the seattube meets the toptube. The big threaded holes on the dropouts are there is you want to tow a Surly trailer behind this frame. Included with this frame is a rear disc brake mount as well as a direct mount front dearilleur clamp and a nice looking stainless steel Surly seatpost clamp. The frame takes a 27.2mm seatpost, a rear wheel with a 135mm QR spacing, a 1-1/8 external headset and a 73mm threaded bottom bracket. The frame clears a 29″ x 3.0″ tire. The last picture shows the geometry sheet that came with the frame. The basics are a 14″ seattube, 21.3″ top-tube, 69.5 degree head angle and 72.5 degree seat angle. I love the simplicity and comfort of this frame so about 18months ago I had it powder coated satin black and rebuilt it. Planned on adding custom decals but I ended up liking it plain black so left it. Ive added a photo of what it looked like when I got it new from Leisure Lakes you can search the original spec online. This is the spec. Frame – Seamless, double butted Tange Infinity cro-mo tubes, Large (19 C-T). Fox 32 Talas Forks 15mm Axle (95mm & 120mm Travel, lockout, serviced around 6 months ago). SLX brakes (180F 180R). Ks Lev Lever operated dropper post (6 months old). Superstar 32H Sealed Hubs (Blue). Stans ZTR arch front rim. WTB rear rim (Original). Cane Creek Sealed Headset. Sram GX Single Chainset (32T narrow wide ring 170mm Arms). XT rear derailleur (With clutch mechanism). SunRace 10 Speed Cassette (11-40T). Michelin 2.25 XC tyres (Set up tubeless, fast rolling & light weight). Charge bars & Stem. Hope QR seat clamp. Hope rear QR skewer. Race Face lock on grips. Front Enduro Guard mudguard. This is a used mountain bike in great working order but heres a list of the issues. Saddle is well worn with a few tares. There is wear inside the forks from where I buckled the old rim however you cant see it with the mudguard there. Rear rim is a bit out of true (Didnt get round to changing it, its not very noticeable). Tyres are a little worn but still have plenty of life left. I applied plenty of protection tape but there are some small scratches hear and there around the frame and fork but nothing major other than mentioned. Ask me anything I may have missed.
