Was very well taken care of after being built. Most luxurious bike I have ever ridden. Great breaks, very high quality, changes gears smoothly, the suspension has different settings to suit your needs and wants, not as heavy as you would expect so all round perfect bike. This listing is for a mk1 1990 Offroad Proflex frame. One of only 100 built, by Serotta. True Temper USA steel tubing. Measurements: Frame size: 18″ CTC (19.25 CTT) Top tube: 22.25″ CTC Seatpost: 26.8mm The rear suspension has been rebuilt, so it is back to catalogue standard. It has a new alloy tube (that the elastomer rides on) of the same dimensions as the original. It also has a new replacement elastomer of the same colour, length and outer diameter as the original. The only difference is that the hole in the elastomer measures 12mm rather than 9mm, so just 1.5mm smaller all the way around. There has been a minor brazed hole repairs to the rear of the seat tube – it has been done well and is structurally sound. One of the frame brake bosses is a little wobbly. It doesn’t spin and has probably been like it for most of it’s life. No dents, but plenty of scrapes here and there. This is an excellent opportunity to own one of the first full suspension’mountain bikes’ in history, and it would make a great project for someone. Any questions just let me know.
