Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon CC Frame and Chris King Headset

Takes 27.5mm wheels. It will take a 160mm to 180mm fork. Takes a 142x12mm rear wheel – axle included with the frame. Santa Cruz seat clamp included. This is the more expensive frame which is made from a higher, stronger, grade of carbon fibre and is also lighter than the C model which could only be bought as a complete bike. The head tube shows’Nomad C’ however I can assure you this is the more expensive CC model as santa cruz have since changed how they badge their frames. You will see the in one of the photos that the model is the Nomad CC. It has been invisframe taped from new (I have left the tape on) and also had a carbon fibre rockgardz downtube protector fitted. There are some marks on the tape where it has done it’s job. There are 2 small areas on the side of the top tube where the invisframe tape has lifted a bit and some dirt has got under it. The frame is in excellent condition with only a few small scratches and chip to the bottom linkage and frame above the bottom bracket (see photos). It’s not had much use as I have hightower and mostly ride it. There are some black marks on the invisframe tape behind the rear linkage, the frame is not marked at all – if you zoom in on the photo you can see it is just the tape that is marked. The Chris King Headset is in excellent condition and although not pictured will come with all parts. The bottom bracket threads are in excellent condition. A very capable bike which climbs amazingly and descends like a dream – I’ll be sorry to see it go. Ideal for trail riding and enduro. It will be sent well packaged and fully insured. This is a vintage trek 9.8 oclv frameset. It has a Chris king headset, manitou skareb fork, Easton ea90 stem and a Shimano Deore XT front derailleur. This shows moderate to heavy signs of wear with scuffing, paint chipping and some paint bubbling. Check pics for condition. Rare to find in this condition, Santa Cruz Superlight frame with Fox rear shock in excellent condition. Back when they were made in the USA, not overseas like now. Best color I have seen in DARK gray shot peened durable finish! Seat tube is 20 from center of bottom bracket to top of seat tube. Due to the sloping top tube design, should fit someone 5’9″ to 6’1″ or so, depending on how you like your setup. No dents or cracks, just some rub and light scratches. Takes either Disc or V-brakes. For the more nimble and agile 26 wheels. I have owned 4 Superlights and I still think they are one of the best 26 full suspension designs ever made! I will throw in some extras to sweeten the deal.
