Medium 18 frame (5ft6-5ft11). 26 inch Shimano Deore XT Rims on HOPE PRO 2 hubs. Tyres- 26×2.35 Schwalbe First Ride tyres. Front- Rockshox U-Turn, manually adjust suspension 95mm to 140mm by turning a knob includes rebound and lockout, lockout stiffens does not fully lock. Rear- Fox Float RP23 Propedal with rebound, propedal is always on does not lock out stiffens. 9 gears (1 x 9). SRAM X0 rear derailleur. Raceface Evolve XC Crank. Hope Hydraulic Disc brakes. Truvativ Double XR seat post. CARBON Easton Monkey Lite XC Cnt Composite carbon handlebars 700mm. Brand new wheel up composite flat Pedals. Brand new double lock on grips. Brand new inner and outer cables. Here is a Orange Five S full suspension mountain bike for sale in a rare white colour finished with red orange branding. Included are some of the original documents. It was an Orange entry level bike when it came out but over the years it has had many upgrades including conversion to modern 1by drive system, Shimano Deore XT rims, and the Hope brakes which have excellent stopping power. It also features Hope hubs which make the incredible ratchet sound and is finished with carbon Easton bars and new flat composite pedals. It’s perfect for beginners riding trails and mountain biking, cross country or enduro trails and is also great fun at bike parks. This is a proper mountain bike that looks the part with a great name at a budget price. Hand-built in Halifax, UK Orange has been making bikes since 1998 and today is a very well known and prestigious brand that produces quality bikes. It’s a used bike so there are marks and scratches but these are purely cosmetic. There is usual wear to crank arms. There are scuffs, scrapes and marks and scratches throughout the frame. The rear shock does not fully lockout, they just stiffen slightly on the climb setting; a full service would get it functioning to fully locked climb mode if that is required by the rider. The white colour has naturally faded in some areas over time. There are light marks to the handlebars. Overall this bike was maintained as well as possible over the years and stored indoors. I would rate it as average condition cosmetically. If you are looking for an amazing bike with some really great components then grab a bargain. The Orange Five is as good as most new bikes with an amazing name behind it and it’s been ridden approx 12 years and still going and I’m sure it’ll be just as good in another 12 years.
