Mountain Bike Frame

I have for sale. X1 Used Kona Coiler Dee-Lux frame. In very good condition. The frame was originally a Coiler Dee-Lux however when restoring it I made the choice of colours to match a old Stinky Dee-Lux. The frame was stripped back to bare metal and then powder coated in as close a match as possible to the old Stinky Dee-Lux. Although the silver part of the chain stay is worn the decision was made to keep it as it would be impossible fro me to replicate. The decals were custom make for this project. The BB has been chased and faced and the disc mounts have also been faced. There are X4 new high quality Japanese bearings fitted in the main pivot above the BB, these felt as smooth as anything from Hope of Chris King. For a final flourish a new bottle cage was added along with a brand new Thomson seat clamp. Spec Model year: 2004. Colour: Yellow and Green. Frame material: Kona clump 7005 aluminium tubing. Fork steerer: 1 1/8. BB shell width 68mm. Post diameter: 30.0mm. Rear hub required 135mm x 9mm QR. Shock: Fox Vanilla RC. Brake mount: Disc, IS fitment. Overall in very good condition. No leaks from shock. Adjusters on the shock work but the blue compression dial is stiff. No play in the suspension. All threads in good condition. BB has been chased and faced. IS disc mounts have been faced. X4 new Japanese high quality bearings in the main pivot above the BB. There is a tiny line dent on the non drive side chain stay. Sale will include the brand new Thomson seat clamp and the bottle cage however s. Eat post is not included. This is a superb example of one of Kona’s classic bike frames. Ld saying goes a pic.
