Included is a Ragley seat clamp QR, Shimano Deore XT SM-BB70 Bottom Bracket and a Hope Internal headset. Both BB and headset are fairly smooth and ready to use.

Kona Fire Mountain K Mountain bike commuter bike retro vintage bicycle. Mountain Bike / Vintage retro bike. Used bike in good working condition. Scratches, scuffs and markings consistent with age and use. Handlebar mounted gear change levers 24 speed. Shimano Acera rear derailleur > Freewheel > 8 speed. 700C (tyres in great condition). Rock Shox Front shock absorber. A lot of fun to ride in the woods! As shown in the photos, the bike is in good condition and good working order. Everything works as it should, gears, brakes, wheels, etc.. It’s a second hand bike, so it has odd signs of usage, marks, etc.. As shown in the photos. It comes with a rear wheel reflector, and a bottle holder. The quality frame is made with 7005 butted Aluminium, and will provide great service for many years to come. The shifters give you access to the 24 speeds, which are more than enough to get you around in style. Many photos have been taken with the intent to display accurately the bike condition. Coyote Ultralite Retro Mountain Bike Frame Small / Medium size. Top tube approx 560mm. Seat tube approx 440mm. 2170 grams with BB and seat post clamp. BB frame shell is 68.5mm. BB is 113mm end to end. Steerer tube is 100mm with no bearings fitted. Seat tube external diameter is 26.75mm. Used but in good condition. Relegated to occasional use about 2005 when the family arrived. Has plenty of paint scuffs but no major dinks or damage. Included are an Octalink Shimano bottom bracket which is almost brand new, seat post and seat clamp. No headset bearings, takes standard for the time 1 1/8 inch straight steerer tube. Bike was owned from new by me and was built up as a high spec hardtail. Please see my other listings for other parts if you are looking for compatible parts. Collection is from Bents Green, South West Sheffield, S11. Sorry, I cannot deliver items or package them for your courier. Items are listed to the best of my ability. VCR Cycles is delighted to bring to the market this 1999 Santa Cruz Heckler X 18.5 MTB frameset. Top quality USA made retro frame. Fox Vanilla x rear suspension. Frame is scruffy but solid with no dents or cracks etc. The linkages are all good with no play. Only negative is the drive side bottom bracket thread is quite weak. It’ll still take a bottom and you can still tighten it right up to the correct torque but as you can see in the last two photos, the first 5mm is weak so needs to be declared. As a complete bike this was built with a Shimano Hollowtech type BB with the deeper cups and was used for years with no issues. There’s also good quality threadless BB’s on the market now as another alternative. Centre of BB to top of seat tube is 18.5. Centre of seat tube to centre of headtube is 22. Rear spacing is : 135mm. Front spacing is : N/A.

I’ve been informed that this is a Giant Boulder frame with and unusual frame repair which in my opinion makes it look pretty cool and unique. The Pace sticker has certainly been added by a previous owner. The frame is measured from crank to seatpost clamp. Bottom bracket threads, rear hanger etc all checked and without issue. For standard 26 wheels. Structurally it seems good and ready to build but does have some cosmetic marks rubs, chips etc. The forks have similar marks and rubs but all could be touched-up if so desired. 1989 Kona Lava Dome Retro Vintage MTB Mountain Bike small/medium. An early survivor from late 80s MTB boom. Last time bikes were really popular with general population. My brother had a white and grey one, I was quite jealous, but this yellow splatter was the one he really wanted. This is in as found condition. I have to cut down on the maybe one day projects that have accumulated. It seems in reasonable condition particularly considering it’s age with what looks to be original finish. I can include correct x1 levers, as shown. There are several areas of surface corrosion, but this should be a relatively easy abrade and touch in of these bits and the paint splatter finish will take the eye off a great many imperfections in finish. A nice, easy refurb of an acknowledged retro classic MTB. Headset is notchy, BB turns reluctantly but no play, but could well turn out ok with regrease and new balls. It’s adjustable for bearing preload on non drive side. I’ve not even tried to undo this as not got proper tool. Paint damage to brake calipers, levers. Corrosion to seatpost binder. 415mm centre BB axle to top seat collar.
