Vitus Sommet CR 2018 Enduro Mountain Bike frame XL

Carbon fibre front triangle and aluminum rear end, with a Rockshox Super Deluxe R rear shock (160mm travel). I’ve owned the bike from new since 2018, and recently stripped it down to use the parts to build up another bike. The frame is in excellent condition and has served me well over the last 5 years. Frame size is XL (I’m 6ft 4 and this fitted me well). Also includes a nearly new Shimano XT press fit bottom bracket which was fitted by Leisure Lakes Bikes in October last year (2022), a BOOST 148x12mm rear axle, and headset (with new lower bearing). Collection only from Manchester or can deliver locally for a small cost to cover fuel. Any questions please just ask!

Vitus Sommet CRS Frame/Shock/Fork/dropper + Extras combo. NOTE: No wheels/tyres, drivetrain or brakes are included with this sale. ONLY the things listed below. 2018 Vitus Sommet CRS. Carbon Front triangle and Alloy rear. Boost front and rear axles. Frame – Description above. Rockshox Lyrik RC 170mm Forks. Rockshox Super Deluxe RC3 160mm Shock – Mark on the lower part of the shaft, deep in the stroke. Brand-X Dropper 150mm Internal routed. Sram Bottom Bracket – Pressfit ready for GXP Cranks. Headset – Bit rough but spins. Bar and stem – Specialized Brand. Condition is pretty good with a few marks here and there to frame. Fork and shock have been serviced at the beginning of this year and hasn’t seen much use since. No marks to fork or dropper stanchions. ONLY the things listed above. Hi, this is a Vitus Sommet 1 2013 frame for sale, size Medium. The Sommet is a great Trail, All mountain Gravity all-rounder. 150mm travel, accepts a 160-170mm travel fork. 68mm threaded bottom bracket, threads are good. ISCG05 chain guide mount. 142x12mm non-boost rear axle, it has a bolt through QR lever included. Tapered head tube, includes a Brand-X headset for tapered fork steerers. 31.6mm seatpost size, not included but there is a nukeproof clamp there with it. Rockshox Monarch RT3 air shock. In good condition, there’s scratches and chain slap as to be expected from a MTB frame of this age but no major damage like dents or cracks. Make sure to get a good look at the photos. The frame uses replaceable dropouts, i have some spares for it including various suspension pivot shafts and some nuts & bolts. There’s also a spare shock that was stripped down to be rebuilt, but i never got round to it, it’s a Rockshox Monarch + R. I’ll throw it in, if you wanted to get it rebuilt and use as spares or sell it on. The shock fitted to it does work and holds air, it has started to sound a tad squelchy however so it will benefit from a service. Suspension pivots have no play. In Ready to ride order Eye-catching turquoise and yellow colour combo Quality Rockshox Rear Shock and Manitou fork FSA single-speed hollo-tech style chainset Smooth-shifting, reaches all rear cogs wheelset runs well and pretty much true, has tight and smooth bearings Great used condition with some light use related marks and a few touch-ups to the paint but overall in very good order. Fully working Shimano Hydraulic Brake set perform well and give good stopping power Headset and bottom bracket are smooth with no movement 10 speeds available. The bike has no known faults! What To Expect From a Used Bike. A bike retailing at 5K new can have a retail tag of 2K five years on. With this saving though, there are a few things to consider. I do my utmost to be honest with the bikes I sell and present them to you in a valeted condition, ready for their new owner. I try to sell bikes that have been checked over thoroughly, are working well and are ready to ride. This though does not mean the bike has been mechanically reconditioned. Please bear in mind that manufactures advise mountain bikes to have suspension serviced every 200 hours of riding and dropper posts every 400 hours. The brakes along with frame/bottom bracket/headset bearings are suggested to be replaced every 12 months. This does depend on the level of use though. If a bike has a few years on the clock please be mindful and realistic of the wear and tear the bike has. Without stripping a bike down to the frame I can only give my opinion on how components feel and how the bike operates. There may every now and then be the odd thing I miss.
