Trek Closed Convert Dropout system enables different wheel hub standards. Supplied with smooth functional press fit bottom bracket. Sized as a Trek 17.5. Seat tube Centre to Top = 17 (430 mm). Relisted due to inaccurate ad wording etc. Trek Slash 9.9 carbon fibre mountain bike frame, Medium 17.5, I believe this is the 2016 model, I also believe it has 160mm travel and would suit a 160 fork! I bought it secondhand in 2017 for a project which was never started. Frame has been stored since. I bought it with the mark in the graphics on the top tube, I understand from the previous owner that this was caused by a brake or gear lever on the bars spinning round and scraping across the top of the top tube. Theres also a fair amount of cable rub on the frame. Please see the pictures, Ive tried to show all as best as I can! ? The frame has a Fox Factory shock and a 142 rear axle, not boost Im afraid! Fantastic condition Trek Fuel EX 9.9 in medium. Fox Float DRCV rear shock 130mm travel. Fox Float RLC 140 travel fork 15mm. Comes with headset, Enduro bearings bottom bracket and both of the rear dropout options – 142×12 upgrade and the original 135QR dropouts. Removable front mech mount and the rubber chain stay protector are both included. Great condition, very few marks on the paint and no damage to the frame or fork. Builds into a fast, light trail bike – will take 130-150 fork travel (currently set at 140, easy to adjust with spacers). I do have a set of 26 Hope Pro2/Stans Crest wheels which can be included – ask for details. Please note the seatpost in the pictures is not included, it’s just an old one used in the workstand clamp. Treks ABP Active Brake Pivot works really well and results in fluid suspension even under braking. Loved this bike but it’s time it went on some new adventures. Size medium – loads of standover clearance with a long top tube (years before it became the norm). It’s a hugeley capable bike and builds into a weapon of a trail bike.
