Yeti ARC Frame 1999 19 Inch Disc or V-Brake. 1999 Yeti ARC Frame – last of the American made ARC frames. Nice condition, was NOS until about three years ago and has done just around 1000 miles in its life. Some little scuffs here and there but the paint is still super bright. Centre of BB to top of seat tube 17.25. Centre of head tube to centre of sest tube is 22. Salsa seat QR included. There are two areas of paint damage which are worth mentioning in order to be thorough – both of which are shown in the photos. The first is a storage mark on the left hand side of the top tube near the seat clamp. This is just a surface scuff and does not penetrate the paint. The second is some paint chipping on the inside of the left hand chainstay near the hub axle. If the frame was built up with discs however, this would effectively be hidden from view. Listed is a used Kona Explosif mountain bike frame, which has been converted to singlespeed by James Bleakley of Black Sheep using stainless horizontal dropouts. It is made from Reynolds 853 and is approximately a 20″ size: the seat tube measures 20″ ctt, the effective top tube measures approximately 24″ ctc, the actual TT measures 23″ ctc, and head tube measures 150mm. The head tube is 1-1/8 and a threadless headset is included, the seat tube is 27.2mm, and the rear axle is 135mm (spacing measures 140mm, but fits 135mm bolt on well). There is currently a bottom bracket installed – I made a brief attempt to remove it and it didn’t budge, a more concerted effort may be able to remove it. It rolls with a light roughness but is functionally smooth. The frame shows scratches and marks typical of use, but looks good overall. Please inspect the images for detail.
