Mountain Bike Frame

To be 100% clear, it’s a frame sale not a complete bike! Here for sale is my rare and stunning GT Zaskar Carbon LTD Frame with the extras listed below, whole bike pics provided because I just wanted people to see it! It’s a medium 17″ size and fits my 5′ 7″ at the saddle height shown, with lots of adjustment up and down available to suit anyone not especially long or short. I picked up this one in April after a long search for an immaculate example and have loved riding it with my own custom build. I’ve just picked up another rare frame, I’m listing this because I can’t keep them all. Riding the Zaskar LTD is a speedy and precise experience, carving turns and popping off roots like the very best of hardtails. It’s stable at high speed and accurate in ruts, while being fast enough to worry climbing PBs created on race bikes. It also extremely versatile with cable routing for a front mech and an internal dropper post, so you could build it into a trail weapon like mine, an XC machine or even a gravel / bikepacking rig if you want. Frame weight is about 2.8lbs or 1.27Kgs so it’s light without being fragile, just right really. Tyre-wise my Onza Porcupine 2.4s measure up at 2.45″ wide and that’s as big as it’ll take, roughly equivalent to a Maxxis 2.6″. The bottle bosses on the seatpost have their threads removed to take a full-depth dropper seatpost. The rivnuts will need to be replaced if you actually need to carry 3 bottles. The other 2 bottle mounts are all perfect, as are the rest of the threads and fittings. Rear hub spacing is 142 non-Boost and I’m running a 148 Boost wheel no problem. In fact the dropouts naturally measure 143.5, so there’s only 2.25mm each side in it. Slip the brake disk into the caliper and slight pressure on the drive side will slot a Boost wheel in comfortably. Included with the frame are the original seatclamp, integrated headset I fitted new (for tapered forks), the cable guides underneath and of course the metal inserts for the rear brake mount. I’ll supply the Boost length rear axle and a non-Boost one so you can stick whatever in there! Bottom bracket is pressfit PF41 and runs silently. The Hope one in the pics fits 30mm cranks and I also have a SRAM DUB here. Neither is included but we can deal it in. I think that’s everything but please send any questions through here.
