Scott scale 710 Full Carbon Hardtail (sub 10kg possible). Perfect XC machine – super light and super stiff for rapid racing. Im 510 and it fits me perfectly. 2016 model with 27.5 wheels, I bought it new in 2018. Condition is used and could do with a service on drivetrain. Brakes just bled and new pads fitted. Frame is still pretty close to best in class. Bike is functioning and in average condition for the 3 years use, but would benefit from the following to get it to its best. This is factored into the price, so please consider the potential costs/effort to get it back to its best. New front gear cable and set up. Shock lockout cable change and new ferrule. Frame, shock, cranks have usual minor scrapes and scratches. Wheels and tires are in good condition (tires nearly new and top spec trail tires). In summary – a great light weight XC hard tail, that needs a few service points to be ready. The SCOTT Scale 710 boasts a super light HMF Carbon Fiber frame. Cannondale Trail 6 custom build. I recently built this bike from the frame up. I used much better components than originally came with this frame. The bike rides excellent. Sram X-5 rear X-7 front derailleurs with black Shimano Deore cranks. It has a fully adjustable (travel 70-100mm, rebound damping and compression damping) Manitou Axel fork which will lockout at the turn of a dial. Great stopping power with huge 203mm/180mm rotors and Hayes Dyno Comp hydraulic brakes. Brand new Sram cassette and chain. Brand new cables and housing (it will need minor adjustment as cables stretch). High end like new Specialized Myth saddle. The bike is used and does have a few nicks, scuffs and scratches as you would expect from a bike this year but overall it’s in phenomenal condition. Please inspect pictures as it represents condition accurately. The frame was just polished and waxed and looks fantastic. The bike was pictured with an X-7 rear derailleur but now has an X-5 rear. Everything else is the same. Double Butted 6061 Alloy, SAVE. Manitou Axel Adjustable travel, adjustable rebound damping & Compression damping/ Lockout. XC 6061 20.00 mm Alloy bars. ORANGE FIVE RS 2017 650B. Im 5 10 and for reference I ride a 54 Santa Cruz stigmata and medium Cotic Solaris. Full RS spec so Moarch Plus+ rear shock, RCT3 150mm Pikes and stealth dropper. Hope Pro 2 with Stans Flow, set up tubeless with nearly new Maxxis tyres. Race Face Atlas carbon bars and 35mm oversized stem. Has all the usual MTB marks but in good working condition. There are some marks on the fork stanchions but these have been there for last couple of years and in past 2 form services they have not been flagged as causing any leaks etc, they look worse than are as stanchions are black! Frame is model before the Solaris became Solaris Max so 2016. Medium Frame (Im 5 10 and its perfect) for reference I also ride a Large orange five and a 54cm Santa Cruz stigmata. Ive had this bike as an occasional bike since new. Forks were tuned and set up for this bike by TF tuned. They reduced them to 110mm after I tried multiple lengths and 110 is its sweet spot. Ive also run this bike at 27.5 and 29 is where it is at! Full XT 11 speed with absolute black oval chainring. Magura MT7 pro brakes. And best brakes Ive owned for stopping power. Wheelset is nano hubs on pacenti tubeless rims. Its been used as intended so there are marks here and there but I would describe in good condition. You can see from pics that no expense has been spared on build for this type of bike. If you are interested please come take a look and have a spin (on my driveway).
