For sale is my 2017 bird Aeris mk1.5 frame in medium, this frame has been amazing for me in the past 2 years, despite its age the geometry is definitely ahead of it’s time which makes it capable and a pleasure to ride. It also features adjustable shock mounting in the rear so you can easily switch from 150mm to 140mm for those longer days in the saddle. The frame is in good condition however there is some cable rub which you would expect to see on a frame of this age. I have taken apart the linkage to check the bearings and they still have some life left in them but ideally could do with being changed after a month or so of riding. 2014 Turner DHR (medium) Legendary DownHill Racer. Fitted with a 2015 Cane Creek double barrel air shock, providing circa 8.4 of rear wheel travel! But the clever dw-link setup means this a very pedal-friendly ride to get back up the hill :- I was using it with a pair of Fox 40′s and the combination was the most capable suspension I have ridden. I always try to build my bikes as light as possible, so I was quite happy with the weight savings of the cane creek, but if you want to go back to a coil shock, I can supply the frame without a shock and at a discounted price (message me to discuss). I will leave the hope headset and sram gxp bottom bracket fitted. Rear axle is a 12x150mm bolt-through. Turner frames have always been of the highest quality, but with the last iteration of the DHR they really produced an engineering masterpiece. The cnc machining on the central section is exceptional. I seem to remember Dave Turner said the cnc bill during production was quite excessive! Probably why the frames were over 2k. Condition is generally good. The bearings were repacked with grease and then I only did a few rides before it was put into storage. Negatives – a little chain wear and cable rub, some marks on the downtube near the bottom bracket, two small dents from the previous owner, see pictures for ref, but they do not affect performance of the frame. I was running the bike with mastic tape over any points of abrasion, but I have removed it all so you can see any marks pre-existing on the frame.
This is an Orange Switch 6 mountain bike frame in a large size suitable for riders. 5’7″-6’2″. It was built up for my Son but he lost interest in mountain biking so it hasn’t seen much use and It’s covered with invisiframe protective tape so is in good condition. The steel frame does have a minor dent in the top tube, however this does not affect performance. The paint does have a few marks seen in photos, however the wrapped Invisi-frame protection has taken most of the bruising and really helped limit marks to the frame itself. The frame takes 26wheels and a tapered fork. The frame is used and does have some scuffs that I have tried to show in the pics. Recently had new bearings. Shimano rear brake hose has been left in. Some paint bubbling / blistering on the underside, not sure how visible this is in the pics but I will add a better one, not too bad.
New headset New BB All bearings in good shape. Frame has some cosmetic marks here and there as to be expected but is generally in very good condition as you can see in the pictures and will make a lovely looking bike. I started building this up for my wife but lost interest in the bike not the wife! Any questions please ask.
