Trek 990 Vintage MTB Bike Frame 16 M 650B Touring 1995 USA Custom Paint Charity. USA made classic rigid steel MTB frame in a medium size. Pretty sure its a Trek 990, serial number indicates a 1995 production year, and the dimensions and chainring scraper mount match the 1995 990. Very light for a rigid steel frame, APX 5 lbs as it sits. Could be built with 26 in, 650B, or 27.5 in wheels! Crimp in cable guide by seat tube cluster. Can use cantilevers or V brakes. This is a land shark vintage mountain bike Frameset from 1992. It has a custom paint job which carries over to the custom bar / stem combo. The fork is a manitou and it needs new elastomers and needs a rebuild. Headset is not smooth. This was sparingly ridden and kept indoors for years with minimal use. Mild signs of wear. Here are the frame measurements which are taken by me and there might be a small margin of error because of this. Head Tube – 4-3/4. Top Tube – 23-1/4 along the top tube c-c. Seat Tube 18 c-c.
