Thanks for looking at this great piece of Manitou History. This was one of the MOMBAT (Museum of Mountain Bike Art and Technology) Manitou’s. I used the parts for another build and what you have here is as it was exactly other than the parts I removed. I believe but may be wrong that they used a spacer in the headtube. I noticed a small ding on the down tube and some scratches on the top tube (pictured).. Would’ve been that way as it did not happen on my watch. Here’s a cool opportunity to build up a great bike! This is a used bike and is in good used condition but please expect the usual scuffs decal loss and minor scratches that would be expected form a used bike of this age. There are no dents or cracks. This bike has been sitting for a while. If you are expecting a new bike I strongly suggest you consider contacting your local bike shop directly for a new 2021 model.
