Significant chainsuck scrapes and wear on right rear chainstay (see last photo and note). These are fairly deep. Paint scuffs, scratches, and wear throughout frame; heavy wear on dropouts and chainstay area. Frame size: 18 inches (center to top, see measurement photos). My old high end (at the time) 90′s MTB. Frame is an aluminium popcorn blizzard think they were Easton made-but unsure. It certainly was the lightest frame I could get at the time. Has a nice titanium paint finish. Forks are Pace rc36, still move freely and I seem to remember are elastomer. Please treat as a project, yes there are wheels with tyres but it will need going over as had very minimal and light use over the last 20 years or so after I had retired it. The last 20 years it has lived in a dry garage in France for use as an occasional bike. Pace RC36 Carbon forks 1 quill stem Xt rear mech 9 speed Deore Triple front chainset Saddle as shown but I have a choice of others if preferred. Model year Circa 1999. Used mountain bike frame, over 25 years old. Normal wear and tear, scuffs and paint chips as to be expected. Shock seems to be holding air ok, but should be serviced before being used due to its age. No structural dents, no cracks. Please see pictures look at pictures carefully and feel free to ask about any item specifics. Generally fairly tidy looking form a few feet away. Frame + shock only, not a complete bike!! Frame size’large’ retro large, not modern MTB large! If you’re looking a this you probably know exactly what it is and have fond memories of ragging about in the woods on one, or spent your youth lusting over it in the pages on MBUK. This is a true retro icon of the 90s mtb scene. Whats it liek to ride? Terrible URT suspension design, steep head angle, short top tube, ridicules long stem. Seriously just don’t. However if you want a nostalgia infused project that looks uniquely striking or an interesting pub bike then this would be great. Straight steerer head tube. Fox float R rear shock – with rebound adjustment (not fully tested, it looks ok, but due to age it should really be serviced). Head tube length 125mm. QR rear axle compatible. 20 centre of BB to top of seat tube. Seatpost and seatpost clamp included hope QR lever on a generic collar. They don’t make’em like they used to – Mainly because they were a bit crap.
A fantastic example of the seriously capable cube 150 C:62 which has been very well maintained and serviced recently. Medium frame which is coated in paint protection film. The bike comes very well specced from factory with fox 36 front forks with 160mm travel which features full lock out suspension, Fox Float DPX2 EVOL on the rear. Very lightweight and up the the challenge of absolutely anything.
Trek Marlin 5 – Really clean condition, good frame, always taken care of, left gears are playing up a bit, not sure if its a simple fix. Rides great other than that, probs needs a back tire if you’re really bothered. General few stone chips, open to offers.
