Kona Kikapu Full Suspension Mountain Bike Frame 18 with Fox Rear Shock Blue Retro

This frame is in great condition. The seat tube is 18. It fits 26 wheels, 9x135mm on the rear. It has a straight headtube. The fox float RP2 shock is in good condition but may benefit from a service as it has sat for a while. The headset is missing the crown race. Please note that the dispatch on this will be slower than small items due to certain post office’s not accepting our large parcelforce packages. Retro Kona Cinder Cone Bike Frame. 1993 Model with double butted steel tubeset; to my mind the best year for retro Kona’s. It was the first year to get serious about weight saving and had the nicest two colour fade paint jobs. This was the same frame as on the Lava Dome (the cinder cone was specced and priced higher). Signs of the years and age. Rusty in places but structurally sound. No cracks or dents.

Kona Cowan Retro Jump MTB Frame Freshly Painted VGC 26 Wheel With Extras

It has been stripped and repainted with aerosol. The finish is good, but there are areas that are not perfect (see photos). It has been primers and had 2 coats of color, then new decals applied. It comes with a new and complete headset and a nice retro quick release seatpost clamp. The bottom bracket threads are mint, and the sliding dropouts are in equally good condition. There are no dents, scrapes, or cracks. I’m not sure of the size, but the dimensions are. 15.5 inches from centre of bottom bracket to top of seat tube. 22 inches from centre of seat tube to centre of headtube. Straight 1 1/8 steerer. 34mm external cup headset. 68mm bottom bracket shell width. 26″ or 24″ wheel. QR or bolted axle. It was painted and built up into a complete bike, displayed then stripped for parts. There are a few tiny chips to the paint here and there. I have taken detailed photos to show the condition so please study them before purchasing. Kona Hula 7005 butted aluminium 13 MTB trials bike frame. Used by my son as an MTB but looks strongly made and may also suit trials as well as a youth MTB or small adult etc. Very little use and in great condition, I can barely see a mark on it and the paintwork looks gorgeous in blue and white IMHO. Threads all good and no damage. Seatpost and seat collar NOT INCLUDED – not being tight but this seat clamp has integrated fixing for a rack which I wanted to use for another project and looks a bit odd if no rack used. Takes a 32mm collar BTW and 27.2mm seat-post. BB is threaded BSA and headset (not included) is 1 1/8. I’ll leave the cheapo rear V brake in place, we used disc forks on the front and proved a good combination as the V brake easily locks up the rear when needed on a bike like this. I don’t have a bike box but do have lots of heavy duty cardboard and padding to make a secure parcel. Other cycling bits usually listed too.
