Kona Stinky Downhill Mountain Bike Frame 17 Retro Vintage DH MTB Black VGC. 2006 Kona Stinky Downhill Bike frame in very good used condition. 17 frame fits like a medium. Lovely black with silver parts looks great. Perfect for a winter retro bike build project. Pivot bearings are all good. Its a 2006 so it does have little marks here and there but nothing major, especially for its age its in really good condition. You can tell its not been used much in its lifetime. Retro 2008 26″ Kona Hei Hei 19″ MTB Frame Silver/White Fox RP2 2.5 travel Race. In fairly good condition for it’s age but with quite a few marks as per pics, some of which have been touched up. There are some corrosion marks under the lacquer in the silver parts as per pics. Frame is Kona’s Race Light Scandium Aluminium butted, and has a Fox Float RP2 shock and 2.5 travel. This frame only takes 1.1/8th Inch straight steerer forks, is standard 135mm rear quick release and takes a 27.2mm seatpost. Included is an FSA Orbit headset, but note the bottom bearings and crown race are missing so will need these to be replaced, or a new bottom assembly.
Frame and shock only. Cerecoated like a ceramic powder coat used on military rifles, cool stuff. Shock is in great condition, works very well and holds air as it should, I’ve never had to top it up. Not done much since it was recoated and had all new bearings, it’s far from mint but looks very presentable, please view photos carefully. Includes correct size Thompson elite seatpost and a clamp. Tape around seat tube is to protect from cable rub, it’s been on since it was coated and is well worth leaving on. Cable guide clips are all there, top tube ones are hard to get hold of. A great frame with no hidden issues, rides absolutely fantastic and is very light for an old gal, honest as they come. Collection welcome or posted.
Retro Kona Lava Dome. Designed by Joe Murray. Tange double butted cromoly tubing. In generally good condition for its age, plenty of patina though, some poor quality paint touch ups over the years. Designed for 26 wheels. 1 inch headset sizing. Designed for canti brakes rather than the previous year when it was u brakes. BB threads are fine.
Kona Kula Mountain Bike Frame. Takes 26 inch wheel size. 20 inch frame size Centre of Bottom Bracket. To top of the seat tube. Top tube is 23 inches centre of seat tube to the centre of headset tube. Bottom bracket threads have been checked and are good. Frame has been checked for any cracks and dents and it is not showing any. The chainstay area has been filed slightly to make it smooth. It has been resprayed over the original colour of the 90′s which is showing chips in areas. The year of the frame is somewhere between 1994 and 1996. Takes Rim Brake – Mechanical type. Ver very light frame. Will be sent securely packed in a box with reinforcement to stop any damage in transit.
Upgraded 36t crank and arms. 29 in ch smart sam punctureproof tyres. 29 x 2.25. Small rust spots on forks. Front and rear mudguards. Used daily for commuting.

Overall in good condition. All threads in good condition. Minor wear and scratches. Worst wear is the cable rub to the top tube. Sale will include the seat clamp however seat post is not included. Here we have my bullet proof Kona Coilair Deluxe in large frame with various upgrades including improved Fox evoultion series forks, a KS dropper. Seat post, DT Swiss 420 front wheel and Mavic S600C front wheel with Hope hub, FSA CarbonPro bars, Fox Float RP23 rear shock and SLX gearing all round (3×9). I’ve recently replaced the hollow tech bottom bracket so that’s unused. Having acquired a nice Trek ebike last year the Kona has been unused so its time to go to declutter my garage. Kona Dawg Deluxe, 2008 model. 18 inch frame made of butted race light scandium with 26 inch wheels. Shimano Deore XT front and rear derailleur gear hardware. Hope front headset and rear free wheel hub. Fox Float 32RL forks and Fox RP2 rear shock suspension prividing 140mm of buttery smooth travel. Both shocks have just received a service at South Coast suspension. Fox manufacture the best suspension in my opinion. A new front brake system has also been fitted at Proper in Hassocks. Kona WahWah flat pedals. Included also is a CatEye rear light, Kryponite Evolution D-lock plus KryptoFlex extension cable (I have the keys safe which will all be provided), Wrench Force shock pump and a Bontrager Turbo Charger floor tyre pump.
