Starting off with a 1210g frame, its light enough to make any weight-weenie blush yet it packs the stiffness and durability to stand up to whatever you can throw at it. We also appreciate that the frame doesn’t cost a fortune either, in fact, it comes in at only a couple hundred dollars more than many aluminum offerings. Then there’s the geometry that is slacker than your usual XC whippet meaning you can crush the descents and build on the time you earned on the climb, or it just makes for a more fun bike on days when a number plate isn’t strapped to your bars. The frame can accommodate up to 2.6-inch tires giving you plenty of traction over loose trails and cushioning through rock gardens and root lattices, or slap some 2.25-inch treads and get anaerobic. It also plays well with forks in the 100 to 120mm range letting you choose between a more agile 68.5-degree head tube angle or a more stable 67.4-degree one depending on your riding style and local terrain. Either way, its short 439mm chainstays will have you dicing through tight singletrack while remaining composed on high-speed chutes. Final frame details include internal routing, including for a 31.6mm dropper seatpost, post mount rear brake caliper, stiffness-enhancing Boost spacing, threaded bottom bracket shell, and a tapered headtube. A used but working well Rockshox Reverb Stealth B1 150mm dropper seatpost and remote, Reverb fluid and bleed kit, also 3x brand new spare rear derailleur hangers. Supplied and fitted with this is a lightly used Sram DUB Pressfit bottom bracket installed by Canyon and includes all rubber grommets etc for cable/hose entry. A upper headset cover with integrated stopper will also be supplied minus the bearings. This will accept 27.5 (650b) wheels as this is a Boosted frame size so its 148×12 rear axle. With the large rolling stock found on the Camber Expert Carbon 29, however, you’ll be moving with maximum efficiency uphill with enough travel leftover to tear the descent. This is achieved by combining our full FACT carbon fiber Trail Chassis with a M5 aluminum Camber FSR rear end. The combination results in the perfect blend of responsiveness, lightweight, and durability. At both ends of the bike, you’ll find sufficient travel lengths that deliver plenty of plush suspensionall without going overboard on big hit capability. This means that you don’t have to sacrifice efficiency, weight, or sheer speed to ride how you want. And with our Trail 29 Geometry and lightweight, stiff and smooth Concentric Pivot at the rear, we can guarantee it. The other trail component of the Camber is utility, and along these lines, it features our fully integrated SWAT Door at the down tube of the frame. Open it up, and you’re able to safely and securely house your ride essentials right where you want themon the bike. For the build, we selected components like a SRAM one-by drivetrain, powerful Shimano brakes, and a FOX 34 fork with ultra-stiff stanchions. Altogether, it’s a bike that’s can do it all, and do it all fast.
