Up for sale is this very clean and highly collectable Cambridge, Massachusetts made 1993 Merlin Titanium Mountain frame (original pre-1998 Massachusetts made frames are becoming rare and very collectable). The size is 18.75 and the serial # is an early 9227. This frame would fit riders from about 5’9 to 6′. This was the top-of-the-line hardtail mountain bike Merlin offered in 1993 as the Extralight didn’t come out until years later. The frame has some very minor cosmetic blemishes from normal use but very hard to see in photos. Overall a gorgeous and super clean example of the golden age of mountain bikes when bikes were just as much unique works of art. This bike will build up and ride as new. Seat tube is 18.75 center to top. Top tube is 23.63 effective center to center. Seat Post diameter is 27.2mm. Rear spacing is 135mm. BB is english threaded 68mm. FD size is 34.9mm/ 1 3/8 bottom pull.
