Kona Fire Mountain K Mountain bike commuter bike retro vintage bicycle. Mountain Bike / Vintage retro bike. Used bike in good working condition. Scratches, scuffs and markings consistent with age and use. Handlebar mounted gear change levers 24 speed. Shimano Acera rear derailleur > Freewheel > 8 speed. 700C (tyres in great condition). Rock Shox Front shock absorber. A lot of fun to ride in the woods! As shown in the photos, the bike is in good condition and good working order. Everything works as it should, gears, brakes, wheels, etc.. It’s a second hand bike, so it has odd signs of usage, marks, etc.. As shown in the photos. It comes with a rear wheel reflector, and a bottle holder. The quality frame is made with 7005 butted Aluminium, and will provide great service for many years to come. The shifters give you access to the 24 speeds, which are more than enough to get you around in style. Many photos have been taken with the intent to display accurately the bike condition. Feel free to ask any questions. Best For : Mountain biking and Fans of retro bikes. Viewings and test ride are welcome before purchasing. Bike can be collected in person or posted. Kona Explosif Mountain Bike 2015 27.5 Wheels 19 Frame. I’ve had this for years. Had it professionally resprayed as I didn’t like the original luminous orange. THE BAD – it’s been sitting in my shed for a long time and the Fork creaks sometimes when pushed down. At least one of the brakes needs bleeding, possibly both. Gears probably need servicing to run really smoothly. One of the thru axles is chipped on the lever. The whole bike has surface rust and marks consistent with age and use where I haven’t protected the frame well enough (please study the pictures as they form part of the description). With a decent service this could be an awesome bike for someone and you would get nothing near this quality for the same price anywhere else. 1989 Kona Lava Dome Retro Vintage MTB Mountain Bike small/medium. An early survivor from late 80s MTB boom. Last time bikes were really popular with general population. My brother had a white and grey one, I was quite jealous, but this yellow splatter was the one he really wanted. This is in as found condition. I have to cut down on the maybe one day projects that have accumulated. It seems in reasonable condition particularly considering it’s age with what looks to be original finish. I can include correct x1 levers, as shown. There are several areas of surface corrosion, but this should be a relatively easy abrade and touch in of these bits and the paint splatter finish will take the eye off a great many imperfections in finish. A nice, easy refurb of an acknowledged retro classic MTB. Headset is notchy, BB turns reluctantly but no play, but could well turn out ok with regrease and new balls. It’s adjustable for bearing preload on non drive side. I’ve not even tried to undo this as not got proper tool. Paint damage to brake calipers, levers. Corrosion to seatpost binder. 415mm centre BB axle to top seat collar.
