Mountain Bike Frame

Up for sale today is a brand new Surly ECR frame. This frame was only removed from the packaging to take these pictures. I had plans to build it up, but decided to go a different route. Check out my other listings for a set of Surly Rabbit Hole wheels that were built up for this bike. This is the ultimate bikepacking and off-road touring bike, but it can be built up for just standard mountain bike riding as well. This frame is Dark Green in color the stickers are white. It is made out of double-butted 4130 Chromoly steel. It has an ED coating to prevent rust and increase life expectancy. This frame has just about every mount and cable routing that you could ever need. The rear has mounts for racks and finders. The is cable routing for front and rear derailleurs. The rear dropouts accommodates a Rohloff Speedhub torque arm and all of the routing for the dual cables that it needs. The downtube has a triple bottle mount on the top and a standard double on the bottom. The top and downtubes are gusseted where they meet the headtube. There is also a nice looking gusset where the seattube meets the toptube. The big threaded holes on the dropouts are there is you want to tow a Surly trailer behind this frame. Included with this frame is a rear disc brake mount as well as a direct mount front dearilleur clamp and a nice looking stainless steel Surly seatpost clamp. The frame takes a 27.2mm seatpost, a rear wheel with a 135mm QR spacing, a 1-1/8 external headset and a 73mm threaded bottom bracket. The frame clears a 29″ x 3.0″ tire. The last picture shows the geometry sheet that came with the frame. The basics are a 14″ seattube, 21.3″ top-tube, 69.5 degree head angle and 72.5 degree seat angle.
